Montana NEEDS

I know that the majority of you idiots have incredible reading comprehension problems but seriously explain how you derived I want the past?

I want to purge the past, we know what he have with the people that have ran this program into a dumpster fire. I want new blood for the future but please explain how you got to your illogical conclusion. RMFE
 
We need to recruit better players and I think this ties in with our new hire. Montana's great fan base, awesome stadium, new facilities, and an amazing tradition SHOULD help Montana bring in better talent than ANYONE in the Big Sky. EWU, for one, has more talent and better coaching than Montana right now period. One has to ask how the hell is this possible? Cheney is a hell hole and that stadium is a joke compared to Missoula and WGS. I'll answer that question. It's called FUN yes I said it FUN. Beau Baldwin has sold fun to players for a long time. He can go into a quarterbacks house and say "Hey, we will throw the ball 50 plus times a game, wanna come here"? The same goes for the receivers they have had over the years. Their last 3 quarterbacks will have won the Peyton for Christ's sake. PLEASE hire someone who will come to Missoula and throw the God Damn football again! Make this team fun to watch for the fans and the games fun to play for the players again. Don Read and Montana started the five wide throw the ball every fricken play and now teams like EWU and Idaho fricken state are making us look like a bunch of jackasses by doing what we USE to do. Get back to what made Montana football great...hire someone who will do THAT and you will see Montana return to greatness.

Completely agree Mt football to me is what coach Read brought. He did not promise wins but he said it would be fun. At no point was Bobby ball fun. Hell he should have won a lot of games the Big Sky was a weak conference when he was here. Some of you may recall that Georgia Southern went to a spread passing offense in the mid 2000s. After several years of failure the fan base demanded a return to their brand of option ball.

Needs coaches with imagination, focus, vision translated into an action plan that utilizes talent where skills are best utilized.......

Coaches that understand the modern college game and today's student athlete

I believe we have an AD who understands all of the above, will he have the support to hire the coach who understands also.

I wouldn't mind Pflugs but it's not going to happen. I am perfectly happy with who they have offered the job to. I hope he takes it and can get his staff together.
