20 point loss is embarrassing. No other way to put it. The slow start against NDSU continued tonight. The poor 3 shooting continued. Shooting 26% is ridiculous. And worse, guys leaving their feet on D without any clue as to why they did that or where they are going continued. There is more than enough blame to go around, coaches and players. Here's to Travis fixing this before conference starts.

Tough game to be missing Akoh. Could have really used him inside for this game for some more offense and defense in the paint. Hope Akoh is back against South Dakota State. It's a winnable game if the Griz can hit a reasonable amount of shots.
With the Griz having a very good defense that can cause problems for even major programs, that alone can keep the Griz in a lot of games and make them a very dangerous team. Can't beat teams with just defense though and missing even open shots. How many open 3s did we miss tonight? Sure Arizona did a good job contesting most shots but we missed a lot of open shots too. We get in these funks shooting occasionally and unfortunately it sometimes lasts damn near all game like tonight's game.

Agreed. Against NDSU Mike was struggling with his shot, to put it mildly. But he busted ass on the D, forcing turnovers, making shooters alter shots. Bobby is the same.Potomac Griz said:

I would agree with you, when we’re playing weak Big Sky teams. But this is Arizona, not Weber or EWU. He’s good on defense, until he faces real competition. Focused on him for a few possessions on D, and was not impressed. Veryyy slow on rotation, which ends up forcing switches and scrambles to find a man. Was also bodied time after time down low, and must’ve given up 2 or 3 and 1s. He just overall looked terrible today. Noticed the same thing against Creighton and Georgia State. He just isn’t as good of a defender as advertised. Someone had to say it, and I’m sorry it’s me, but we’re here to win games.Potomac Griz said:

Well, we have one more shot at getting a good OOC WIN. We need a win in South Dakota, to have a chance at a decent seed in the big dance. Of course we’ve got to win the big sky, to get to the dance. We have to break this slump. Not getting much consistency without Akoh.

for me the UM passing and shooting and offensive execution = disappointing 2018
