How often is a player selected as POW when his team loses both games played? A testament to his performance.
No brainer! I think he will win many more of these as the season progresses

As I mentioned in another thread, I hope we don't hold on to him. I hope he goes pro and makes it for his family after everything that's happened. But, yes, I will enjoy every game he plays. Great player.

Was it my former math teacher Eric Hays against UCLA in 1975? Think he got 32 that night that they almost upset the Bruins in the tournament. Hays was later drafted by the Bucks
Edit: It was. UCLA had 7 players that played in the NBA, the best being Marques Johnson. We had one, Michael Ray Richardson. Ken McKenzie was also drafted in the 8th round by the Sonics, Hays went in 9th. Neither played a NBA game

I drove to Butte to watch the game at my brother's place. Hell of a game, great showing by the Griz
Played golf against Eric Hayes a few years ago. Shared some beers following the match and I asked him if folks still talk to him about that game. He replied, "they do and I never tire of discussing the game with them." We of a certain age will always remember.
