Mike Ferriter to coach inside WRs for the Griz

Tweeted it yesterday and saw some posts on another thread as well. On twitter today I see that AJ Mazzolini has tweeted confirmation that Ferriter will be our inside WRs coach, which was also his job at ISU.

Good to see a Montana kid, former player, and in-state high school player joining the ranks. With the passing game ISU put together and what Stitt expects in his passing game this could be a great fit.

Awesome news. I'm really loving the staff Stitt is putting together. New blood, continuity from the 2014 staff and old Griz guys coming back.

Coach Swett is the outside WR coach as well as passing game coordinator.

This is great news, Mike Ferriter to coach UM inside WRs. :clap:

I remember when he broke his arm, playing WR for the Griz, when he put his hand down on the WA Griz turf while being tackled. It was an ugly injury. Tough kid. A Montana kid!

This is a great hire. :egriz:

I remember that play clear as day. Makes my arm hurt to think about it... Great receiver and an excellent addition to the coaching staff. The jury remains out on Bob Stitts as a coach but as a manager there is no better move to consolidate support than to hire past players who grew up in Montana. Very smart!
 
Ferriter is a great get for Stitt...! And the Griz!

Before it is all over 99% of the Griz fans will love Coach Stitt...!
