Michigan up 23-21, :10 sec left and punting. Long snapper bounces the snap, punter tries to field it and then inexplicably tries to punt it, but ends up with an odd looking "lateral" that ends up in the arms of a MSU defender who then runs 45 yards for a TD as time expires....

So, one small correction: the snapper did NOT bounce the snap....it hit the punter in the hands (albeit slightly low) and he just muffed it.

Yep. Seemed like all he had to do was fall on the damn ball and they'd have probably been all right. Can't stand either team, so no problem ... but it's always fun to see what can happen in a football game. And, amazingly enough -- given how many different games we've been bouncing between -- we actually were watching, live, when it happened.

I'd put that fumble on the offensive line. Tough to get a pass off while the tackle has his thumb up his ass.
