Message to Cat Fans

Wasn't Hauck coach in 2018? I think he's 2-4 in Hauck 2.
Edit:
I am assuming you're just referring to Hauck v Vigan 2-2
Yes, on Hauck but he certainly hadn't had time to get his players and get things turned around. Was that the game the Cats stole at the end with a questionable timeout. Yes, Hauck v. Vigen.

We'll see. I have a feeling the Cats might finally be OVER the hump. It was clear last year that the Cats had arrived and were at the SAME level as the DSUs in terms of not getting pushed around on the lines. Toe to toe with arguably one of if not the best team in FCS history, when the Cats went to Brookings and lost on a last second controversial call. Then lost to NDSU on a last second fluke blocked XP in OT. Fortunately because of the perfect season the Cats put together they will get to face a DSU in FRISCO. I won't bet money on it but the Cats might just bully them and push then around on the lines like they just did against um. Will just have to see how things shake out. One things for sure... if the griz can squeak past whatever crap team they're playing Saturday night, SDSU will dominate them.
You are closer to knowing whether Cats are over the hump. I don't agree that the Cats showed that they were at the same level as Dakota schools on lines last year. My view is that the early SDSU game may have been a fluke. Even if Cats had made the XP, there is no assurance that they would have won against NDSU. Just because you lose on a play doesn't mean you win the game later. I find your incessant saying that the Cats would have won, or not lost, which you didn't quite say this time, as being stupid and showing that you don't understand the game.

The Griz are likely to clobber Tenn St. Why do you have to make dumb and irritating comments like that squeak past? You obviously haven't looked at Tenn St. You are just being an unnecessarily irritating and ill-informed jerk on egriz. You have posted like that forever. That's why I am often a jerk back to you. I am happy to play SDSU on the road. We played them last year, and the team knows what to expect. Wasn't it something like 3-7 at halftime in Frisco.

Because of Cat fans like you, I like to tease and trigger Cat fans on egriz. I've gotten good at it. As I have said, I like the Cat team and players, but not so much with the multiple jerk trolls and fans like yourself.

Yes, we shall see. But I love that ESPN Analytics supported my view of the Cats' prospects by showing a 17% chance to win in Frisco.

Kinda like you saying the griz coaches are better than the Cats? For someone that supposedly understands the game, that is one idiotic post. Vigen knows the blueprint to win the Chipper and has put together a staff and team to do just that. Bobby had put together a staff and team to be..... mediocre.

As for the "irritating" comment about the griz possibly just squeaking past TN State... the reasons for that are two fold. First, to annoy overconfident griz fans like you, and secondly, look at the body of work? griz lost to an average UND team, a clearly better UCD team, and a crappy Weber team, the latter of two were AT HOME. Then of course got dominated by the #1 Cats, and beyond that they squeaked by a few other bad teams. So looking at all that, how could one not just assume that when you get two mediocre teams duking it out, it might be a close game? Of course it definitely helps getting them at home, cld weather, night game, etc. So I would predict a griz win, and then a fun road trip to Brookings where they'll get dominated again.

The Griz coaches are better and have more and better experience. UM beat the Cats and NDSU last season and went to the chipper. He obviously knows how to do it. Losing in Frisco, beating the Cats and beating top teams like NDSU is not being mediocre. How can you say such dumb stuff?

I understand your irritating comment, and you are irritating much of the time, as well as unknowledgeable. However, Tenn St. doesn't look very good to me. Again, the Griz SOS ended up slightly better than the Cats in both Massey and Sagarin.

The Griz played two good teams and got waxed by both. Also, the Cats can’t play themselves, but the Griz getting to play the Cats certainly boosted their SOS.

that might a back handed dig to us.

At this point who cares about SOS. The season is over, seeding has been determined, brackets are finished, and post season is about to start. Throw all other shit out the window!

I agree, but SOS is still the SOS. Statistics and history don't just disappear after the season ends. They are still there. I don't think anyone said they "cared" about SOS at this point, did they? Should we also say that who cares about team win-loss records? It's a "new" season. The playoff brackets are set.

Well…yeah. UM’s SOS is higher because it had to play MSU. MSU’s SOS is weaker because it had to play UM. That’s kinda how it works when you’re the top rated team, you make everybody else’s schedule stronger.
True. But the SOS is the SOS. It is what it is. It's a calculated stat.

I guess SOS is what you talk about when it's all you have left, i.e. realization that your bitter rival has a much better team than you, all season long.

Happy Thanksgiving!

No, I talk about how ESPN Analytics has
Cats have 17% chance to win championship. Shall we bet $100?
