Message to Cat Fans

I was a Cat fan long before you were. My first Cat game was about 6 decades ago. And same for Griz games. I like the Cat teams and players. Just not some of the jerk Cat fans.

The roads were awful this morning so glad to hear you made it back OK.

And UM rated 7th in FCS by Massey. Cats are rated 2d. SDSU 1st. Davis and Idaho 5th and 7th.

Cats are 3d in Sagarin. Griz are 9th. In Sagarin SOS, Cats are a bit weaker than Griz and 2d lowest on conference.

Tenn St is 20th in Sagarin. 68 slots below Griz on SOS.

Tenn St is 46th in Massey.

The only good thing that came from getting absolutely hammered last night was that we couldn't get out of bed early enough to see the bad roads haha

Bobby is 2-2 with Vigen. Since Bobby got things going again. People like you can’t admit that last season was a great year. I don’t even know if you are a Griz fan, but if you are, you are a bad and unknowledgeable one.

ditto on the good time and tailgates. I was luck and caught a ride after the game albeit soaking wet riding in the back of a pickup last night...I thought about finding a corner to hole up and hitching back today but ultimately glad I found a ride last night...

Wrong on Massey. Massey order is Cats, Bison, Rabbits, Yotes, Aggies, Vandals...and Griz at 15.

I wasn't talking Sagarin and Massey rankings. I was talking on the field (where they " play the game") results. 5th.....in the Big Sky.

Ahhh..... and now the pivot. So early season it's all about, griz have better coaches, better RBs, better QB, better OL, better defense. griz will beat the Cats. Then the Cats crush the griz once again and we move on to..... well the Cats won't beat the DSUs.

No pivot, but yes some new info from the season. Better coaches and RB's. Not better OL. Certainly not better QB. Yes, Griz will beat Cats, and they will next year too. And I was certainly right on what I said in 2023, and virtually everything related to football, and Griz went to Frisco and Cats lost at home in their first game of the playoffs. Griz aren't going to lose at home in their first game at home. My view is that Griz didn't get crushed, but got beat soundly were not in the game very long. Cats won't win national championship game. Can't beat the Dakota schools.

Hey Jack. Which round did MSU play their first playoff game last year, and which round will UM be playing their first playoff game this year? I know you’re trying to be all lawyer like, but we all know there’s a difference between getting a bye and not getting a bye.

We'll see. I have a feeling the Cats might finally be OVER the hump. It was clear last year that the Cats had arrived and were at the SAME level as the DSUs in terms of not getting pushed around on the lines. Toe to toe with arguably one of if not the best team in FCS history, when the Cats went to Brookings and lost on a last second controversial call. Then lost to NDSU on a last second fluke blocked XP in OT. Fortunately because of the perfect season the Cats put together they will get to face a DSU in FRISCO. I won't bet money on it but the Cats might just bully them and push then around on the lines like they just did against um. Will just have to see how things shake out. One things for sure... if the griz can squeak past whatever crap team they're playing Saturday night, SDSU will dominate them.
