I argued this exact point weeks before the draft and got absolutely destroyed by GRIZ fans (from Butte I presume, and hoops) who told me he was a shoo in because of his insane athletic abilities. Problem is, as I pointed out, the nfl is loaded with those guys and dozens of players with far better measureables than the wine guy get cut every year.

I said that he'd have an uphill battle making a 53. Then I proved you wrong about the number of WRs (ones who actually played the position in college) in the nfl with measurables equal to or considerably better than his. Then you went all "hoops" and I promptly ignored you as usual.

If I he wants to be a pro QB, I hope Tommy heads north and joins Dave in Calgary and let the great GRIZ mold the great Bobcat into a professional QB--many others have gone north and had great careers and some have even returned from Canada to the US and enjoyed success back in the NFL.

Whatever Tommy decides, he's a great kid and I wish him success whatever path he decides to take. !!!
