The reference by Shaun Rainey of McDowell leaving might be related to 'another' move was interesting because I recently heard a newly hired FBS coach is working on getting our OC to move on with him. I didn't give it much credibility when I heard it this weekend, but maybe there's some truth to it because McDowell seemed to have a good relationship with Pease.

I’ll never understand posts like these. No offense. Which newly-hired FBS coach? Just say it.

Probably true but Wright wouldn't be a stretch. Grad student that has sat behind some pretty incredible talent and just wants a chance to play. I don't think Huff is an upgrade at all from Cliff.

I mean, it is all wild conjecture, but that would give us a good mix of upper classesmen, but without game experience, and highly touted young guys. It would give options.

Clifton needs to focus on getting his degree, which is hard for a kid transferring to his fourth school to accomplish.

He saved Montana's season, but like most student athletes he's unlikely to be a professional athlete.
