Ugh i hate the Bears. I will allow them one TD though, and that would be only if MM takes it to the house.

Alright, the Bears have finally done something right this season! Congrats Marc ! Go get 'em!

Is Levi Horn still with the Bears?

Nope. Lasted only a couple years with them. Has had a fewer lesser opportunities and played a bit. Living in Spokane now, with wife and child, I believe.

He's been getting contacted almost every week, but no one pulled the trigger until now. Glad he's gotten a chance now.

I wonder how soon he will be on the field? I'd love to see him on thanksgiving day against' Detroit!

I would expect to see him immediately, the Bears don't have a good punt / kick returner.

Excellent. Good for Marc. The bears learned something from once having Hester around - it's good to get return yards.

One of the first things I thought of when I saw this move. Marc may not have Hester's flat-out speed, but he's got more than people gave him credit for, and he knows how to use his blockers. (Realistically, hoping his injuries haven't slowed him down.) Let's root for Marc to make them forget Hester. No slam against Devon, who was always fun to watch ... as long the opponent wasn't your team. :D

Bears are my team but really that's their own damn fault for letting Hester go. Oh well...hopefully it works out to Marc's benefit

that would be 3 of us here! :thumb: I can easily see Mariani third on the depth chart replacing Williams.

:thumb: to 3 !
according to the Bears site, Mariani's average higher then the Bear's average on returns;
The Bears have struggled in the return game this season, averaging just 22.8 yards on 33 kickoff returns and 6.2 yards on 13 punt returns. In Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings, Chris Williams averaged 14 yards on three kickoff returns and 5.7 yards on three punt returns.
Mariani, 27, appeared in 32 games with the Tennessee Titans in 2010-11, averaging 24.8 yards with one touchdown on 92 kickoff returns and 11.2 yards with two TDs on 73 punt returns. He also caught five passes for 24 yards with the Titans, all in 2011.
