Macklemore sported the Griz #37 jersey tonight

Lots of hate slinging on this board. Maybe this song is more to your liking.

Everyone knows Ben is a HUGE Washington sports fan, so obviously he's an EWU fan. I'm actually a little offended he would wear the griz jersey, but I get it, he has to pander to the local crowd.

Go Eags!

Holy cow, I have in the past respected you for your level headedness but the above comment is really out of line and inappropriate. I'm sorry you said this.

Yeah, no surprise that a wigger like him would be an Ewoo fan. :geek:

I saw Jethro Tull at the Adams Center, 30+ years ago. Saw the Avett Brothers at the Adams Center on Sunday evening. The Avett Brothers were truly excellent, enjoyed every minute of the show. Was pleasantly surprised by the sound in the Adams Center, the band sounded great.

Sweet, that's probably the same Jethro Tull show that I attended at the Adams Center -- must have been 1978 or so. One of my favorite concerts ever. The fond memories of that night are taking away some of the painful reality that indeed I am officially an out of tune old guy -- until this thread, I had never heard of Macklemore.

I'm thinking it was '76 or '77. And it truly was awesome! Too old to rock 'n roll, too young to die! :thumb:

Didn't see Tull, but saw Boston in the Adams Fieldhouse in '78...worst concert I've ever been to...in fact, we left after 4 songs. Maybe they can blame the Adams Fieldhouse acoustics?
Van Halen (the REAL Van Halen) always sounded great in the Field House. I saw them 3 years in a row in the late 70s, early 80s.

There used to be great concerts there in the 70s and 80s. Rock and Roll including Van Halen, ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, Tull. Good country with Willie, Waylon, and probably the best of them all Mission Mountain in 78 or so, in the heyday.

BTW, Boston was never a real good live band, but had great albums.

Don't feel bad I never heard of him either.

Speaking of great Harry Adams fieldhouse concerts, The Loverboy/Quiet Riot show in 81 or 82 was one of the best concerts I ever seen.

He is not from Montana, he should not be in the 37. As for Macklemore his music is that pansy ass hip hop crap that is ruining hip hop music, The thrift shop song and that gay loving song Same Love both have caused me to take channels off my presets on my radio, so I dont have to hear them.

I LOLed at "ruining hip hop" Isn't that an oxymoron or something or other?

Are you always this crabby at 7:45 in the morning? Geezus, have a beer or something. BTW, he gave the jersey away after the concert.
