All this talk about divisions should stop. It doesn't really matter anyway. The biggest factor I foresee is the effect of WaGriz on the UNDSU players. Getting the opportunity to play in the big show is not something these kids will take lightly. The atmosphere is nothing like the Alerus Center. After the butterflies subside, I'm sure the Buffs will put up a great effort.

Maybe the NDSU coaching staff can round up some sheep at the ag research facility and bring them with. I hear most of the sheep in Montana are scared shitless, so these ones would be right for the picking. Maybe this would force some Montana guys to not come to the game and would allow a few more Bison fans to get in and nullify the effects of your 7,000 seat stadium.

If that doesn't work, I guess the coaches could contact EWU and see how they prepare to play in that amosphere, as these days they seem to always kick ass when they go into the big boy stadium.

That sheep joke made me drop my Discman onto a box of floppy disks. You stole that from Sam Malone on Cheers last week.

I think EWU has had some success at WaGriz lately because they play there every other year and the coaching staff isn't as intimidated as the UNDSU coaches will be.

Maybe you guys think it is a joke, but I bet the sheep don't feel the same way. Poor bastards can't even speak to stand up for themselves and just say no. Probably is why people from Montana are so thin compared to fat North Dakotans. Quite a bit of running around you guys must have to do to chase down those scared sheep.

I don't know how the coaches are going to be able to handle playing in front of your fans at the maxed out 7,000 capacity Washington Grizzly Stadium. They have never played in an environment like that before.

THAT'S MY ENTIRE POINT! Glad we agree.

I guess as a Bison fan I better just hope that a coach reads this and uses the sheep strategy as they have no clue how to play well in hostile environments. Shit if a big truck of sheep rolled into town, the native Montanan players might not show up either. Way too many clueless sheep for them to be able to handle themselves.

Yeah, because that's in the same category. Logic fail. Go home, fat stuff. You have some Liberty Medical commercials to watch. Because you are really fat.

Fat stuff...man great one dude! Jesus a guy mentions the word sheep and you just can't take it. Guess you are one of those guys who are good at sarcasm and joking around but really can't take it.

Sorry I offended you with the sheep stuff. I know how personel that is for your lot. Especially when us fat asses prefer to get our sheep on in the form of a big old lamb chop suited for a fat ass.

Sorry, I'm confused. Who exactly will be banging sheep again? NDSU or UM? Either way I need tickets so I can be there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't that ndsu team, a division II program at the time, beat ah highly ranked fcs program on their home turf? I would say that was cause for jubilation.

Right? Even though I was rooting for the Griz, it was at least kind of neat to see little David sneak one in past Goliath. Our friends to the East will likely feel a bit nervous again this time around with the bright lights of the main stage, but I expect a decent game.

Just a slight correction on your post, please. If I'm not mistaken, I think the Buffs were actually D III when that game was played (I can't be sure of the date). That makes it even more impressive and hear-warming. It's probably no coincidence that they have the same colors as the original Mighty Ducks!

Ok CDAgriz Fan - a little help here from Bison Fan just east of you 500 miles in Bismarck. Bison were D2 for that game. They were never a D3 team. Bison are the 3rd highest football program only behind Ohio State and Michigan for National Titles at any college level. hard to believe but true. So lots of tradition at NDSU.

That game photo was the first time the Herd ever played the Griz. I watched this game and after the first half thought Oh boy....... we're in trouble. Amazing finish.

I think this game could be a fun game because the Bison are inexperienced. untested on Defense, so that makes it real interesting, offensively could be the best team they've ever had with Carson Wentz at QB and who will be playing in the NFL on Sundays in 2016.

If Griz win, then they will have earned it. Bison won't quit, they go 4 qtrs. and last year were down 14 points in the first qtr so remember who your playing in the Bison.

See you in Mizzu Aug.29th I hope to get 2 tickets.

For the slow ones that are now frequenting this board, anytime you see a "State University" at the end of the school name it means they are a livestock school and have late-night access to livestock (you know, sheep and such)...so not only are you speculating on the wrong website, you might want to evaluate your own situation before throwing stones.

Na dude. We just like to eat them to feed our fat guts. Interesting point on the at school connection. Must be why Montana State isn't as successful at football. Too many distractions for all those guys.

Maybe they can move the game to Bozeman? Everyone knows that Bobcat stadium has more seating than Washington Grizzly and is the nicest stadium in the FCS. With all of those extra seats, you would have a much easier time finding a ticket. After all, Washington Grizzly only has 7,000 seats. Also all those fat ass Bison fans will have to buy two tickets for their seat similar to airlines.

It's probably a coincidence that as the wool gets longer they start losing more games.

No can do son, stadium is booked for the annual Bobcat Invitational Rodeo Showdown and Buzzard Fu*king, biggest event of the year besides the first half of Cat/Griz.

Again. Half as long, and in English.

I agree that is was the first time the T-Buffs ever played the Griz. The DII team could maybe do the same this time. Here is to a good game.

HA! To think RHS Stadium in Bozeman seats more than WaGriz? Do some DI research, man! (I understand if it's a bit foreign).

Are there any funny UNDSU fans? Seriously? Could a lack of a sense of humor be linked to truncal obesity and type two diabetes?

Serious question.
