Love this thread, by the way... What have you guys done lately besides lose? Oops....

Great question, NDSUSR,

Let me see...

Exercised and stayed fit.

Screwed a woman under 18 stone.

Walked away from a plate of nachos.

Seen and lived around mountains.

Not contracted type 2 diabetes.

Not ice fished.

Forgive me, but is that photo of NDU or UNDSU? I thought NDU wore green.

NDU wears the Green and they are the Siouxs.
UNDSU proudly wears the Yellow and Green. They are officially the Thunder Bison, but go by Buffs or T-Buffs.
The picture is of UNDSU, but this was before they officially changed their nickname, I believe.

In fact, I think this might be on or about the time of the 1972 Red River Threeway between Concordia, Moorhead, and UNDSU. One can clearly see some "action" going down in the bottom center of the frame with #78 looking on ready to make a life decision.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane CDA. Back in the day, when the original allegations were made, there wasn't an internet free-for-all like eGriz to help blow the lid off things like this. I do know that any reference to BUFF was discouraged after the streaking craze finally found the UNDSU campus. With all those bare-assed fatty's circling the animal nutrition and physiology center, clad only in in a green and yellow balaclavas, the administration wisely chose to go with the Thunder Bison moniker.

Indeed, BG. As legend has it, however, the Buff moniker took on something of a colloquial meaning in the region as the epidemic progressed. Today, a freshman exercise science major at UNDSU is roughly the mass and body composition of a freshman dessert science major of yesteryear. As buff (the descriptor) evolved on campus, so too did the nickname.

There was no mention of a plate owned by anyone named Nacho. I think he was referring to a plate of nachos.

Cmon, 76. It aint that difficult.

The ndsu rubbish should be removed from the board, irregardless of their irrelevancy they should stick to posting thier hogwash on theire website, it would clean up a lot of the mustard stains and gravy droppings on keyboards everywhere.

I love that you EGrizzers get all butt hurt when Bison fans get on here to post, yet there is a new Bison topic every week. Quit starting topics about your trophy envy and the we will leave and take our plate of nachos with us. Then you guys would not have to find new ways to make fun of us for being fat, since that is the only thing you have left to celebrate, your waist size.

Oh yeah, and your great game day atmosphere. What was the atmosphere like after that loss to Wofford?

I will admit, Washington-Grizzly stadium is pretty cool, when full. 7000 for a first round playoff game?

I remember one year when I lived out in sheep country, the Griz were in the first round of the playoffs and that place was a ghost town. Tons of empty seats. Must have been too cold and hard to handle with your skinny body types.

:? Uh, when was the last time you attended Washington-Grizzly Stadium? 14,018 was the attendance last year for the first-round and the worst attendance we've had in at least 15-20 years for a first-round game due to a monster winter storm that forced people to either stay home or turn around from hazardous road conditions.

Was that when you guys were still Division 3? I bet the stadium looked way different compared to Minot State and the schools you are used to playing.
