location of gameday on MSU campus

What some of you scumcat fans don’t realize is Game Day doesn’t pick locations, they pick matchups/games. They go where those games are. Have you watched the show?

Yes, I watch it every week. Yes, you are right, they picked this matchup this time because the Cats are coming off a NC appearance and are undefeated in conference play coupled with the historic rivalry. I do think the location in this case factored into it too.

Definitely had NOTHING to do with Yellowstone being based just outside of blowsman though, or the massive media push UM did last year, that is for certain :roll:

Yes, location I think was a factor as Montana is hot right now because of the show, Yellowstone. I don't know if UM's push last year was a factor. If so, that is a good thing.

My wife told me that the MSU rodeo team is going to ride down Main Street, and that will be part of Game Day. Yippee! Giddy Up! Hope no one gets bucked off. Ha.

Had Sheriffs Deputy's leading them on horseback instead of police cars too.

The bottom line is College GameDay picked Bozeman. I think they knew what they were getting into as this show has been a success for many years now. Tomorrow will be another successful show for them. It will be good exposure for both schools. Timing is everything when it comes to getting an event like this. Bozeman lucked out. If UCLA had won their game last week it probably would not have happened.

Heck ya! Have you seen all the hype videos, bus tour through Bozeman, Rodeo team leading the bus, etc? If not, you all should. Bozeman is buzzing crazy right now and it will do nothing but build throughout the next 30 hours or so, including the postgame cat fan trail of tears! This is all good for the state of Montana, don't be bitter griz fans, embrace it!

Au contraire mon frere…IF you watch and listen, the fact that Montana State was the runner up last year and undefeated in Conference this year, and rated 3 nationally WAS in fact the reason they chose Bozeman. That’s the story, and the added intrigue of um not making the playoffs this year was the secret sauce to bring them in. Tune in, they will lay it out for you…again!

F@ck Bozoland that place has been a portajohn and gas up stop for Montanans for 139 years for travelers going from Billings to Missoula or the other way around. It’s a a frickin pit. Period. Butte has more character than that crap hole town ever has.

Coke U is a sh1thole, ugly campus too. The best thing the cow pie Capital ever had going for it was the Rockin R and that was really pushing it. In Bozeman the guys joined rodeo and the football team to molest sheep and play slap and tickle with each other.

But hey, if you wanted a good time and you were in high school in Billings it was a great place to get laid because the boys at murder u were too busy getting drunk, high and sneaking into each other’s dorm rooms to play bareback rider.

To put it as politely as possible, Bozeman is the afterbirth of Montana and always has been.

I’m not jealous of Game Day going there. I hope they stay the he’ll away from UM and Missoula. That campus is gonna be the laughing stock of the season.

More importantly after seeing the snow, cold, and feckin desolate cow pastures there I’m thinking their recruiting drops. If I’m a recruit in California, Texas or anywhere in the south, I ain’t gonna want any part of that crap, well, not unless the NIL money is right.

In short, f@ck Bozeman.

In case it’s not obvious I have a deep seated hatred for that town and team. Not just a dislike, but an actual hatred. It goes deeper than football. I grew up in Billings having that trash ass school shoved down my throat.

I have hated Bozoland my entire life, and I hate it even more since it has become “Bozangeles”. That place could burn to the ground with everyone in it and I wouldn’t care.
