I think the one thing they don't want is someone taking video / live tweeting / streaming practices - but anyone is good to come watch almost anytime.
Media coverage, I've been to 5 practices so far. Colter Nuanez with Skyline has been at most. Shaun Rainey has been at all - and he usually gets good access for post-practice interviews. Kyle Hansen with KPAX has been at most as well. Frank Gogola with the Missoulian was at the first few, I've heard suggestion he may be done with football soon? Of course the challenge with the paper (as I'm told) is their deadline for next day reports is late afternoon or early evening, so in many cases they just don't get it there in time - or as evidenced by lack of attendance at practices, they just don't prioritize it.
I'd say stick with Skyline, KPAX, and ABC/Fox and you'll get as good as coverage as you can. There are the gogriz.com puff pieces too that many times are good background info and fun to read as well.

Next time I golf with Worstell I'm going to chew on this Cat favoritism bone for 18 holes.
