All of them great though... ( well not all of them , but SOME of them.... For sure some of them...) Maybe you guys should put the pictures of Bobcat Fans that post on E-griz, on the Port-o-potties...

I never said you weren't... I grew up during what we in Bozeman call the "Before Times" ( you call it "The Trail of Tears"). Way back, in the Before time, we lived by one simple rule... Winning was not done in the November months... Sure we could beat #1 Idaho in the October times, but once the Hallo of Ween pasted, it was not to be... These were dark times,... Very first play... The Griz started cruisen... We would form ourselves into lines... The idea was, when the griz would come, the Cats would start pounden and blocken.. Some times the linebacker would go away...Sometimes he wouldn't go away... Sometimes that D-End looks right into your eyes, black eyes, like a Dolls eyes... Doesn't seem like he's liven.. Till he hits you, then the eyes roll back white... Then you head that high pitch screamin of the QB getting sacked... 16 teams went into the game... None came out...

That is pretty good actually. Gotta give credit where credit is due

O/U on the first time a cat fan claims Montana stole the idea from them?

I’m setting the line at 19 months.

I want to take the over on this.... But I know stupid fans on both sides. ( One of my griz freinds tried to convince me that the griz were the first to say "THE" before the School name, and that the griz came up with "THE U" and not Miami)

Not to argue with the thrust of your point, but your friend was right (at least in Montana) about UM being the U before Miami. You have to remember that forever there was 1 University in this state (and until 1960 only 4 in the pnw - UM (or MSU depending on the year), UI, UW, and UO). So in Montana if you referred to The U it was the school in Missoula, even long after State College became a U.

Miami didn't invent the U until the 1970's, as a logo, and the rest of the country didn't know about The U until the late '80's.

It is getting more rarer but people in Missoula still say they went to The U and mean Missoula.
