Liberty Game Will Reveal Who We Really are

I am shocked. Yet another thread of ATLG verses PR. Granted, I sure in the hell wish the Liberty would reveal who and or what the team is this season. A new coach, system, staff, and QB will usually be a roller coaster. I honestly will be surprised if we can get a consistent idea of who and what this team is before mid October. Either way, I am proud of the GRIZ and fortunate to be part of GRIZ NATION.

For the record of PR verses ATL, if it ever came down to a true fight, I'd take PR.

I have had my share of disagreements with PR. My opinion on who wins a fight has nothing to do with sugar coating.

What is interesting is that all the ex-Griz I have spoken with NEVER say anything negative about the program. They know what it is like to play and what it is like to be a fan. They may not agree but I have never heard anyone bash a player or coach....just what I have experienced.

I don't think I am naive at all and I did not say that players never criticize but I believe most former players are careful and it is not as venomous as eGriz as they have been on the other side of the Griz fence. Something 99% of us have never been.

I don't think you want to enter a contest against Brint regarding who has more credibility with the Griz football program! Just sayin!

Only GAA mavens like yourself are impressed with his flowery "analysis". What's even more humorous is that I hang with several former all-conference Griz football players, and they agree with me. In fact, some of my observations come from discussing things with them.

Coach Germer lives in my building! We were barbecuing steaks at the same time. He said "hi" to my kid. That doesn't make me an authority on the offensive line, or strength and conditioning.

Long ago Don Read mentioned to me that after the third game you will know what you have insofar as a team goes. For many seasons I have followed his thinking and by gosh I beleive he was right on.

Wait until we clobber Liberty Vallance then lets decide what kind of team we have. Atlanta/ Growler you are right about the strength and weakness so stay the course and simply watch us at Liberty!!!!! Sure you have two weeks to growl but watch how our team schrugs off the poly game and simply owns Liberty....

I have to laugh at the pin heads who slammed me for stating what any knowledgeable Griz fan knows. I just left the the Silver Slipper, and talked with two former Griz football greats, both WRs, about the Liberty game. They both agreed that we would know much more about the prospects for this team following the Liberty game. One solid game, one shitty game. Lots of turnovers. Offense not running on all cylinders. The Liberty game will be a defining game, but don't burst the sucrose crew's bubble. There's always the conference games to pad our record! One would think that they would get weary of having their ass handed to them on a daily bases. Yet, just like the Energizer bunny, thet come back for more! Wally World talks about conference play, as if winning the Pig Sty Conference is the new measure of success.

I got news for ya Wally, most real Griz gans could give a sh*t about winning the conference. We used to win it 17 straight years, but that was not what we strived for back then. Anything less than a National Championship is my measure of success. You and your dumbed-down minions can take your soft-assed approach to our program and become a Bobcat fan, you know, those who thrive on participation trophys. Not me!

So by your definition, Montana football has only had 2 successful seasons in history. And I guess Montana basketball has NEVER had a successful season. Why do you even follow Griz sports? It must be very frustrating for you to continually expose yourself to such ineptitude.
