Honestly, I mostly put them there because I have larger doubts about other teams based on recent performance and players lost. I wouldn't be mad at anyone for putting Davis or Idaho at the 2 slot, maybe a couple of others.

It will be an interesting year. I don't know whether we will see the emergence of Dowler as a top receiving threat in the conference and a renewed passing game, as some Cat friends of mine believe, or a continued hard emphasis on relying on their offensive line to grind it out.

Personally, though, I think they took a step backward on both sides of the ball last year. I am curious to see if new coordinators can help.

Agreed. If the spuds hadn't been gutted by the portal, they'd be slightly ahead of the bubs, just as they were last year. But right now the bubs are the second best team in the bsc (#bsc) and it ain't really close.

1. It's Go STATE in the Preseason Polls by a frickin MILE every year. That should be a given.
2. through 10....WHO really gives a poop about those teams?... just as long as STATE is the predicted Chump.. I mean Champ year in and year out...

I would agree with this just based on the teams themselves. I don't know enough/took the time to look at the actual schedules though. That would change the order for me possibly if I took that time. I would say, though, that's the order of "how good" they are. Maybe switch Ewoo and Weebs and ISU and PSU.

If you think a team that loses 1/3 of their games, loses their first playoff game at home to an unseeded team, gets crushed by the Griz, and ends up being ranked no. 8, is a good team, go for it. I don’t know any Cat fans who think the Cats had a good season. They all believe the season was disappointing. No, I don’t view a 6-2 Cat team that lost to a 6-2 Idaho team as being second in conference. That’s 3d. Idaho ended up no. 4 in the nation. See conference website.

That unseeded team they lost to at home is the same unseeded team that took us to 2OT that we had to beat on the final play of the game to win. Yes, last season was a disappointment for the cats, and maybe this year will be too, but what other teams in the conference are gonna be better than them this year? They get Idaho, Sac State and the Griz all in Bozeman this year. They've only lost 1 home game in the Brent Vigen era. I'd say their odds of winning at least 2 of those and maybe all 3 are pretty good. Tell you what, why don't you list all the teams in he league that you think will finish ahead of them this year
