Yeah, there are some that change positions faster than a politician on what they want/expect/see, but I think there are also a lot of fans who are fairly consistent in what they say and what their opinions are.

I think the part that's frustrating the hell out of many of those Griz fans is what happened the past two games and how the games were lost. Get a good lead, then go super conservative, and end up seeing that lead disappear very fast. These last two games were very winnable, but it seems like we were playing not to lose once we got a good lead.

Would you agree with that?

2nd worst scoring offense in the league, worst total offense in the league... yeah even a sugar-coater like me will hold back to claim all is well if we shut them down.

I have to agree here. They played the end of the game the way they started the game. As to WHY they did it that way with no change up (especially when things started to go south,) I have no idea. Little Griz teams call more plays.......
 
The "bi-polar" nature of egriz is what we all love about this mesage board. It is a fan site! We all make emotional statements and pronouncements that aren't based on fact. That is what fans do. By the way Brint, you are no different.

BS.. After that pick when we're up by 2 scores, our possession was so vanilla! Ran 3 plays all to the weak side of the field. Shit we even ran out of bounds one of those plays stopping the clock and then we went 3 and out.. we should have kept pounding them down the middle and went for their throats instead of that conservative play calling on our second to last possession of the game..
 
I think we didn't change things up, because had we won, guys like you tnt would have accused the Griz of raping EWU at home. ;)

And the problem with that would have been?? Add a little pillaging to it and it would have been a great evening.......
 
I think more meds are in order to treat some people who are bi-polar.

you can get this straight when one understands these coments all come from being human FANS,,once you buy a ticket or send money to th scholorship fund, that alone gives the FAN, a certain ownership and the right (at least in their mind) to be critical....and to some degree fans have that right by definition, imo...after all it is what this board is all about, really...

Gregorak is a terrific coach and a good d-coordinator. He's done a terrific job replacing most of the defense. Of the starters, all that returned were Tully and JP (who had replaced Tripp). There are only 2 senior defensive players. That's alot to replace. Trying to hold off offenses of teams that have gotten more turnovers than all but one team in FCS, is not easy. Also, coaches have to work with the players they have on the roster.

While I could debate whether that gives anyone the right to be "critical", it doesn't mean they should be able to unfairly slam players and coaches and lie about them. I understand this is a free country and people have the freedom to be dummies and dicks. It also gives other the freedom to tell them that they're dummies and dicks. It also shows that those overly critical types, and liars, are in fact bad fans--and perhaps Griz Nation would be better off without some of them (as Born2B suggested).

You must have been a Kraig Paulsen fan too. Tully and JP are not the only guys who played last year on defense.. Your missing quit a few guys like: Herm, Harris, Coyle, ect.. Gregorak like to fool you by is raw raw emotions which he hides behind.. He takes no chances what so ever, he brings little pressure, he makes no adjustments.. i can go on and on about it but i would just be wasting my time...

I said "starters". Do you understand what that means? Of course, other people played last year. Gregorak brings pressure and takes risks at times. The linebackers have 4 of UM's 14 sacks. Tripp leads the team in tackles for loss. Only Wagenman has more sacks than Tripp.
