Last week: Why is our OC having Trent throw down the field, what happened to the short-passes we killed USD with?

This week: Why didn't we throw downfield at all?

-----

Last week: We'll be lucky to even hang with EWU

This week: We're terrible, I can't believe we lost to EWU

-----

Last week: We should be running the ball more!

This week: We ran the ball too much!

-----

Last week: Dan Moore is over-rated!

This week: We're sunk without Dan Moore!

-----

Last week: Our O-line is slow and can't block

This week: At least our O-line is good!

-----

Last season: We need a coach who disciplines players more, we're a bunch of thugs!

This season: Why are players being benched so much for minor infractions, don't we want to win games?

-----

Off-season: This will be a tough year and we'll be lucky to win 6 or more games

This season: I'm so pissed we're going to not win 9+ games

How many corner blitzes have you seen this year? Safety blitzes? Breske seems to have taken these pages from the playbook with him when he left. Those are easily established numbers that can be compared to last year. Gregorak is just not as aggressive as Breske was. Yes, circumstances and players have changed but for me it's simply a question of the coaches' philosophical perspectives. I miss the aggressive approach.

Fair enough, but is it really a good idea to blitz from the secondary when they can barely do their jobs as it is?

Obviously a gamble and not something you do a lot of. But do you remember Tru and Jimmy blitzing the last couple of years. Their speed gave the QB & receivers little time to develop a pass downfield which somewhat neutralized the speed factor of having LBs covering. Both were just ferocious hitters too, especially Jimmy. QBs wanted little to do with either of them after those hits.

Why haven't we recruited more NFL caliber corners and safeties? What's wrong with Delaney? What's he thinking?

Delaney has not had the chance to recruit any defensive backs, since he was an offensive coach. Your attempt to be cute, only belies the fact that our recruitment of skilled defensive backs the past few years has been less than stellar.

Skilled defensive backs? I can name a few, gone now, but you are right, none recently. Dennard. Who recruited him? If this guy is one the field, that means his backups are WORSE! Our secondary is...well know throughout the Big Sky Conference.
Delaney: Still an offensive coach. Very offensive.
