Let’s Re-seed the Remaining Teams

If we could re-seed the final eight, how would you rank them?

I would say:

1. Montana: Honestly after their dominant win Saturday I don’t know how it could be anyone else. They have a wealth of play-makers, and an offense that seems to be in sync, along with a QB who is in full control of the game.

2. Tarleton: I debated MSU here, but the Texans had by far the more impressive win, against considerably better competition. Gabalis and Hines are excellent, and their defense is stout. Plus, they have a very easy path to Nashville.

3. Montana State: Is everything okay in Bozeman? First, a truly lackluster performance in which they were largely outplayed by the Ivy League's second place team, then that truly ugly postgame incident between Davis and Vigen. After watching it, there was nothing about that Bobcat team that made it appear they were championship quality.

4. South Dakota: 47-0 ass whoopin over the 6 seed, a team some felt was seeded too low. Enough said. They'll be tough out in Missoula.

5. SFA: I debated a few teams in this spot, but Vidlak, Vaughn, and Gbatu are dudes. I question how good ACU was, and they'll have a tough row in Bozeman, but they can score with anyone, and if the cats come out flat and play like they did against Yale, SFA will be coming to Missoula.

6. Nova: Just one of those teams who quietly gets it done. Not an overly impressive win this weekend, but they did hand Lehigh their first loss.

7. Davis: These guys seem to be getting hot at the right time. Because of their remaining draw, it shouldn't surprise anyone to see them in the semis.

8. Illinois Sate: Obviously a stunningly impressive win this weekend. But that was against a conference foe they know very well, who plays a very similar style. This is still a "prove it" team to me.

lmao ur joking right

I only read actual English since I'm not a 12 year old girl.

But I can only presume you think I have the bubs too high. Very possibly.
I think it’s funny how the cats automatically go to 3 because they had one rough game. You guys didn’t think the Griz should go down in rankings after they should have lost to eastern Washington. Just sayin

Well this whole reranking is based off of playoff performance. Cats had one game and it was terrible against a no scholarship, school first team. Its strictly a hypothetical based on what they saw in each game. You get to hold that 2 seed in real.life, so no need to whine and be a little bitch.

The cats went to 3 because there are two better teams in front of them.

Look, I’m sure you didn’t watch the GRIZ game. But absolutely no fcs team beats the GRIZ playing like they did yesterday.

Well it’s Everett’s post and he can do whatever he wants. Won’t effect the games and makes the week pass by so Cats at 3 in his make believe list is fine by me. Hell due to the kerfuffle maybe I’d move them to 4. If it pisses off another cat fan then maybe they should go down to 5.

My opinion:
  1. scats - still the best team with the best defense and a very good offense
  2. USD - 2nd place in the MVFC, grinding running game and great QB with weapons
  3. Tarleton - present matchup problems and defense is stout
  4. UM
  5. Nova - getting right at the right time
  6. ISU - NDSU who?
  7. UCD - flash in the pan versus a Rhode Island team that barely beat New Hampshire and didn't play Nova
  8. SFA - I just don't see it, SFA is in one of the worst conferences in FCS just above the Pioneer. With that said, come on beat the scats
