You really want to know why?

Because the thread was about Legi, and I was noting who thanked him and what they said. It wasn't about Stitt.

The further problem is that Bob Stitt then went to the trouble to retweet that comment on his own twitter account, making sure everyone saw that he, Bob Stitt, was being thanked, and then said not one damn word thanking Legi. Odd?

I thought it best to let that odd synaptic misfire alone. Why invoke a controversy when the thread is about Legi? Why change it to Stitt's odd penchant for pointing to himself, and his odd inability to thank one of his best assistant coaches publicly at the ideal opportunity to do so? You know, like publicly thanking the athletes you just cut and wishing them well? Because "thank you and best wishes" is just so hard to say or type, right?

But, since you brought it up ... you know ... "narratives" and all. Well, there it is for you ....

Stitt could retweet that one, but not a single other tweet of players, parents and boosters thanking Legi. Not one, and he could not bring himself to offer any recognition, thanks or best wishes to Legi either.

But, it is interesting, in my effort to show the affection and respect that the athletes and parents showed for Legi, you wanted to make it "about Stitt." I attempted to avoid, in thanking Legi, making it a conversation about overt Narcissism, but you just can't leave it alone, can you?

Because someone exactly like you wanted to make it about "Stitt" and I pointed out specifically why I had avoided bringing "Stitt" up. Because it was problematic in the context. Why on earth would I post a tweet that Stitt used to promote himself in a somewhat classless manner, unless I wanted to change the subject? I didn't. So I left it out.

Not content with that, you then blast away multiple times with ad hominem attacks about "Stitt." You posted for one reason, and one reason only.

It is your ongoing agenda, that you bring from thread to thread, disrupting them and always attempting to change the topics to your agenda. This was just typical.

2. You introduced Stitt into the Legi thread, and I countered your argument about him. Not sure what that has to do with providing input about Legi.
3. I only addressed you comments about Stitt and responded to any of your counters. If that is multiple times, then it was only to rebut your multiple comments.
4. Once again, I have no direct agenda and I am not taking it from thread to thread. It is you and your agenda moving from thread to thread and I only comment to show the holes in your agenda driven drivel.

Just going out on a limb that maybe Stitt actually spoke with Legi regarding congrats and thanking him. From what I can see his retweet of Legi's message was the first "intentional" public tweet since Thanksgiving. I don't see that he is big on letting everyone know what he had for breakfast each morning...

I did not introduce "Stitt" into a thread about Legi. In part a twitter thanking "Stitt" was not a tweet "thanking Legi."

I know that's a tough one to grasp for you Flack types, but it just wasn't.

The fact that the particular tweet "thanking Stitt" was then reposted by Stitt in a somewhat classless fashion to draw attention to himself was merely the second part of why I did not post the tweet about Stitt, because I was posting tweets thanking Legi on a thread about Legi.

Naturally, because of your ongoing agenda, you blow this all up when, in fact, it should have been perfectly clear to anyone without an agenda that posting a tweet about Stitt wasn't pertinent to a thread posting tweets about Legi, his service to the University of Montana, and the high regard felt for him by players, parents, and boosters.

Had Stitt posted a tweet thanking Legi for his services, and offering best wishes to him at Hawaii, I would have posted that because that was consistent with what I was posting.

But I couldn't do that because Stitt didn't thank Legi.

As you have now drawn excessive attention to the fact, Stitt did not thank Legi in any tweets I could find, even at the obvious opportunity to do so, when Stitt posted a tweet from Legi thanking Stitt because he, Stitt, wanted to make sure that the public knew that Legi was thanking him.
