If you can't figure out why a coach would go from FCS to FBS in any capacity, then I'm quite certain you have bigger issues at play. Sometimes making 200k more per year has a small role in these things.

Maybe you should worry about your own coach(es). So far you guys are talking national titles when you got a head coach who was not Fields' first choice. He brings on some NAIA guys for you to be giddy about. Then his OC (who was his third choice by the way), got fired after 5 years at Iowa St and producing some of the nation's worst offense during that time. There is no way he could figure out how to clip out a newspaper article, put it in an envelope, address it, put on a stamp, and send it properly. He had to have lots of help for that. And yes the Cat's under performed as they were picked by the coaches and media to win the conference. That is why Ash was let go in addition to other losses in big games.
