Legal Question

I imagine that, in the event of a hung jury, the prosector's decision to re-try the case or not depends to some extent on the jury poll. For example, if the jury is 11-1 in favor of a guilty verdict, as opposed to 7-5 in favor of acquittal, that would have a significant impact on the prosecutor, right?
