That's nice, but there is an entire season to play. Gillman doesn't have a chance because they have all but turned the Peyton Award into a QB Trophy, which is is laughable since Sweetness was a RB. Also, the pad stat conferences have a tendency to win the trophies.

The preseason awards are like participation trophies, they are nice but mean very little.

The post season awards are where it's at and, even though they are individual awards, the entire team executes their roles to make them happen.

And don't be surprised to maybe see some mid to late season additions to the Payton-like Davis @ WR or Buchanan, # 37 Clay Oven, LB, for example : ) !!!
