He was initiating the convo about the Griz, our fans and the stadium. He said he has been to Wash-Griz 11 times. Why does it seem to bother you that a mature person (EWU fan) was having a civil conversation with Griz fans about the two programs? He also seemed very in tune with season ticket sales and what not at EWU, but his biggest point was, that in general, EWU fans don't care about EVERY GAME, every week, year after year after year like they do at Montana. He said he thought that was changing after the 2010 title and still hopes it will, just said it seems like it really hasn't. He was mostly referencing two things, overall attendance for the non-Griz or Bobcat games, as well as the lack of noise in the stadium.
As for the rest of my original post, not sure what your issue was, I was very complimentary of EWU fans and had a great time at the game.
In 2010 our first 2 playoff games (SEMO and NDSU) maybe had 3000 fans, it will be curious to see where we are at this year when we make the playoffs and the students are gone.
I'm too lazy to research this but I'm absolutely certain there were more than 3,000 fans at the North Dakota St playoff game. Hell there were 3,000 fans on the field after the game. Yeah it was a blizzard so that kept people from driving out from Spokane, but Roos was definitely more full than empty.
