Lady GRIZ VERSES Notre Dame

Let's call it what it is:

The BSC gets NO RESPECT.

PLEEEEEAASE Boise move to another conference. We belong in the MWC.
 
The ND ladies won't need the luck of the Irish. They should pass it along to the LG....a 15 point loss would be a moral victory....for what those are worth.

Exactly this. We may have a cozy little thing going here as a perennial big fish in our little muck hole of a conference, but even when one of those exceptional Seasons comes along(mens or womens) we still get no respect. Which begets mediocrity. Which sucks.

I home the LG, EWU and the Griz can shine this week, but the reality there have been only a couple seasons for UM, Weber (and Idaho back in the day) when BSC teams mattered to the NCAA.

I am a lady Griz fan and they should have received a softer seed. They will make us proud and do the best they can against a more talented team. But until the fat lady sings we have a chance. Good for the girls to get such a game. Never say die. Go Girls!

Like Geno said, "If you say, oh no we drew UConn, we are going to tear you apart because you have already lost. But if you approach the game as an opportunity, you have a lot better chance to be competitive".

Or words to that effect.
 
16 is a little harsh. That being said the griz did not beat anybody outside of the big sky in DI. Selvig's talent level has gone down some the last few years and the top girls in Mt have gone to gonzaga and wyo. I do like Gologoski sp and think she will be a great player. The griz don't dominate the Big Sky anymore so getting a decent seed is becoming more challenging.
 
Like I mentioned for the men's team the girl's are needing a good big post player in the paint. One that can dominate the middle.

(Gogo) from Hamilton will help a great deal. She is a very flashy guard at 5' 9". Pound for pound the best player in the state.

We may need to look out of the country for one or more talented kids for size. We do have a good bunch of girls now but one or two more good "bigs" will put us over the top.

the fat lady sang last monday at 5:15 mountain time.
 
Damn tough to watch tonight's game as Direct TV wants $16 to look at it.
NCAA and ESPN run the jerk show. Always that way as we suck hind tit.
I'll probably fork over the $16 but I'll hate myself for doing so!

I think the game is on ESPN2. You should be able to watch it there without paying.

The TV channel guide shows it as 1 of 2 games listed on ESPN 2 then. It might be wise to watch it online, just in case the GRIZ get short changed on TV.

Heh! I was thinking the same thing. That must make it pretty tough to socialize in Butte, Hammer. All of my relatives in Butte worship at the altar of the golden dome on Saturdays.

Read this link. According to the article you can watch on watchnd.tv The link does come up but it doesn't say anything about needing a password for access?/ ESPN will do their assinine wraparound coverage so likely we will get screwed on watching the full game.
