Playing a strong schedule will help attract more outstanding student-athletes to play basketball at Montana, then one day, many won't be complaining about being seeded 16.
The "schedule" is NOT the problem. UM men and women played solid nationally recognized teams. The game has simply improved for the women and UM remains just as they have been. That is fine as long as expectations are not high.putter said:Spanky said:We have an excellent AD, very good coaches with the men's and women's programs. How, pray tell, is that an insult?

15 seed Alabama State had a season record of 13-15 and a 265 RPI and a 342 strength of schedule. Lady Griz had a 88 RPI and 215 SOS.
I wouldn't be so sure about that....grizman71 said:NorthEndZoneDan said:grizman71 said:NorthEndZoneDan said:that was pretty much the ncaa telling robin to eff off and quit. what an insult.

You want to be the best you play the best. Doesn't matter if it's in the first round or the final four. Even if the Lady Griz were seeded 13 through 15 wouldn't guarantee a different result. I'm sure Coach Selvig doesn't share the "We Got Screwed" philosophy.
