LadyGriz Lady Griz Recruiting: 2025+

Finally got around to updating the recruiting list. Lots of Minnesota offers. Haven't been following quite as close as I did in previous years, so if anyone has any names to add please let me know!

There's another possible prospect for the year of 2027 recruiting and that is one I definitely believe was under recruited for the Class of 2025. Riley Beck from Meridian, Idaho is a 6'2" F that is having her freshman year playing basketball at the College of Idaho:

Perhaps one year at the College of Idaho and then recruited by the LG for the following year?..the 2026-27 season. I think she has the talent to play quite well for the LG. IMHO

Or…maybe follow a little closer…hahaha. Thanks for all you do on this board.

Talking about Hayden Kaut and Kamryn Reinker, that Kate Holmquist isn't all that bad either. It's like we got at least three blue-chippers coming in for the recruiting class of 2026:

Kate Holmquist plays for the same high school that Ava Cosette played for and the same AAU program. She's played against some of the best competition in Minnesota - girls who are being recruited nationally by the best women's basketball programs. She's also played travel AAU with MN Fury so she's played against some of the best talent in the nation. This is another excellent LG commit from the great state of Minnesota. Coach Harris, keep that Minnesota pipeline flowing and you will have outstanding teams for years.

Yeah, her playing style and prowess reminds me of another 5'7" player, as listed at the time of her sophomore year; though, a bit slower. If she has a similar impact with her team to be, it would be marvelous!!!

Avery DeCoite should be on the 2026 list correct?? I did not see her on the first page. Hopefully Nate lands Mason Quinn as well. Montana has a ton of women's basketball talent!

Grizzly Journal - I have been out of town for the summer and couldn't watch any summer practices. Do you have any observations you could share on the men or women? Thanks

Appreciate the nod, 7... but I've been largely out of the loop since Mike Petrino left town. Most of the regulars here have a great perspective on the current state of the program, so what I'm reading here is very encouraging. My main concerns are post and pf versatility, defense and depth at point guard. Looking forward to the changes these coaches will bring to the program. Go GrizWBB
