The injuries were ridiculous. When your 3 leadings scorers go out (one of whom averages 30PPG, and another from the most important position on the floor), you can't expect a whole lot.
Even though they dropped, they are still in an excellent position. They didn't need Oden as bad since they have Bogut, and they have scoring in Michael Redd, so Durant doesn't even help a whole lot.
With Villanueva, they don't really need another PF.
I think they will be able to get a steal in Corey Brewer and put themselves in the playoffs next year. IMO, Brewer will have a quicker impact than either Durant or Oden.
The abilities that he has at 6'8" are unreal, and he has that winning attitude and history to back it up. Horford or Jeff Green would be my next two hopes for that Milwaukee team.
The Bucks have some key pieces in place (only 1 year removed from the playoffs remember) and one more addition will help them climb out of that 7/8 spot and have the potential to win a first round series in a weak Eastern Conference.
