On May 28th, Knight, a FBS RB, tweets he's transferring to Bozeman on June 10th. (approx 2 weeks later)

The very week he is to be moving to Bozeman he:

was arrested for reckless driving, disregarding personal property and no proof of insurance;

was charged with attempted robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, and was also charged with misdemeanor possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Sounds like he was losing it, and needed money to get to bozangeles.

I saw it's a conspiracy. He's actually a Griz supporter who planned all of this to happen in an attempt to make things look bad for the cats. Take it to the bank.

His arrest was a complete misunderstanding and could have happened to anyone. Cut the kid some slack - it is only a felony. BTW - this just shows how big a shizzle storm college football has become these days. Any school on any given year can end up with a steaming pile in their lap. Kids are somewhat unpredictable these days. On a good note, MSU was still evaluating this kid and had not made him any offers - yea right!!!!!!

This is goes to show that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. No. 1 guys don't get booted for MIP charges, as was the only downside suggested by bobcats giddy about this transfer.
Reminds me of Tate Forcier, or Tab Perry, or any number of rumored Griz tranfers.
