Kitten game thread

Whats the most common question a kitten fan askes themselves tonight?

Give up' Yet?

$hit, its supper easy........

The online kitty box is a fun read late at night after a loss. Over-served temper tantrums, despair, and hot cat-on-cat arguments.

The Kitty Box After Hours:
the offensive line is so inept it's unreal.

Does anyone think Ash/Cramsey would have lost this game? (I'm still a Choate fan, but Ash would have had this team at a minimum of 3-2, maybe 5-0). Anyone who call this a rebuilding year is fooling themselves.

This team could (should?) easily be 5-0, but can't get out of its own way.

It is not a rebuilding year on offense. This staff was handed the keys to a Ferrari.
Choate's first order of business discarded the engine!

We are a bad team because we are not mentally there. Anyone blaming the offense after blaming the defense last year needs to get their heads out of the sand. We have not improved on defense other than getting some more turnovers and the offense goes to sleep when the game is tight.

Who's the worst team in the conference?
They just lost to Suc State......

Gotta say that was an epic collapse, and we reverted to the same ol Cats on defense. No pass rush at all.
But is anyone really, truly shocked and surprised??

wow, we just lost to a team that wouldn't be competitive in D2.

There needs to be some serious shake-ups on the coaching staff after this one. unreal how this team cannot finish. that's on coaching.

When was the last game...

Where we only completed six pass attempts?

No question! It's over for Bruggie
To those of you who bust on Bruggman, GFY!
Reps with the 1st team would have saved those 2 fumbles - really??? Rationalize that with reason.
Best of luck next week against a team that Western Oregon didn't beat.
You fickle pricks bust on Griz Nstion trolls but are complete dicks to kids who are committed to bring a Bobcat.
Being committed to MSU doesn't make him any less of a terrible QB.

I'm very curious how what i said that is "just as bad" - if i was insulting another certain poster, I don't give a ******...I'd like to punch him in his effing face!! (Probably the same dude patting Bruggman on the back outside the team room after the game and then "having the guts to make provocative posts about him" in anonymity.

Effin Loser!!!

Being a Cats fan is torture

Despite year after year of the same stuff, I never get used to it. This staff and the players should be embarrassed . . . It feels like borderline stupidity. I still have high hopes for Choate but doubt is creeping in.

Biggest Difference This Year??

I'm not pissed when we lose. Its sad, and I come on here, and very few people are very upset either. Its, "hey, its OK, its a rebuilding year. Hang in there, it will get better little buddy." For nearly the past 20 years straight, I was able to go into a game, almost without exception, hoping/counting/expecting a victory - including the FBS games. Now, I'm not surprised or even disappointed by a loss. And that's sad. People bemoaned settling for mediocrity. Well, now we have it. The expectations have been lowered. At least in years past win or lose people would be pissed at giving up 500 yards and 40 points to a terrible Sac St. team. Now? Eh

but for a program that was proud to have pretty much caught up to their rivals in the state, the "Own the State" motto is ringing kind of hollow.

Personally, I think it becomes more and more apparent with every game that this program had degraded and the talent on the roster is/was just not very good. We are so S-L-O-W and this is just obvious across the board (Murray being an obvious exception). A lot of fans thought we had a lot of great talent, but we just don't. Can't change that in one off-season. Whether you like to admit it or not, that's all on Ash.

This one is gonna get UGLY. Sac is absolutely terrible

Not so fast, Cats defense can keep anybody in the game!

Touchi

Wow this actually happened huh? I went to bed because I couldn't stand any more Jr. High caliber football, they may actually be shittier than I thought if that's possible.

I feel bad for Newell and Bignell, they must feel like they're being set at the kids table.

Bobcat RoundTable has had better gatherings.

Seriously it's like this gif was engineered for the bobcats.

Here's the thing: Was ANYONE really surprised by that monumental collapse? I could have almost predicted it. Why? Because it's what the cats do.

That said, it was pretty damn enjoyable watching them cough up that 17 point 4th quarter hairball.
Not surprised in the least. #flatline

I love the Sac Stare announcer: "Hornet Stadium is going out of its mind!"

Well, in his defense, all 219 of them were.
Sorry, my bad. I mis-counted.

It's no Wa-Griz, but we did have 8,000 in attendance last night. Even with mostly terrible teams, we still manage to be 3rd or 4th in attendance in the BSC.

It doesn't help that all the BSC TV angles show the grandstand on the visitor's side. Each side holds about 11K and our side was mostly full.

Go Hornets!

There may have been (MAY) 8000 there at one point, but by the time that final drive started there couldn't have been more than 1500.

Well, it was obvious the Cat D got gassed in the 4th Q.

Serious problems for the QB position. A quick, agile 17 year old runner who can't throw, but he got 187 yards rushing, and a passing QB who can't throw either (19 yds, 2 out of 9 tries). It's been a long time since the Cats have had a real QB problem, but they've got one now. That's a natural result of blowing up a whole program trying to fix just one part of it.

The trick play at the end was as badly bungled as any I've seen. They needed a Hail Mary, and instead got Keystone Kops meets Buster Keaton.

Attendance was 7,759.

I love it when college fans (ewoooers do it as well) talk about the "home" side and "visitors" side.

I'm pretty certain I've never heard a Micigsn fan talk about the visitors side of the Big House.

Best part of the meltdown.....with 20 secs left after sac St shreds the Cats D and is on the cats 15 yard line about to score and win....the camera pans to Choate and he looks at the clock and has a big ol shit-eating grin on his face as if to show his team "come on kids this is a blast". Well that grin got slapped off his face pretty quick. Boom?

If these faces are supposed to represent coach Choke (and after last night he earned that moniker) you have them all wrong. They need to look unshaven and unkept. Good grief coach, you look like you just arrived from a homeless camp!

When will the Lady Pres require the coach to shave? He looks pretty scrubby, but he does project the State College image.

My wife and every human I know (except two) are so glad they are not msu bobcats.

Nope I don't care for Choate. And the interview with Ty Gregorak had his eyes going left to right faster than a convict on death row.

I'm surprised how bad their D is looking. I anticipated the G would make it better than last year for sure. Definitely a throw away year for them. How do you keep your team motivated? They have a tough one to look forward to.
