They gotta have something to feel better about...
Don't get me wrong. I would, too. But this is all they get.

When is the top talent in the state going to start beating the Griz???

This year.

Youve been saying that for years....I would focus on beating powerhouses like Idaho and Bryant first :thumb:

The Cats were focused on beating Idaho, but lost 20-17. I am sure that they are focused on beating Bryant next Saturday. Keaton Anderson is a great High School player, and we (as Cats fans) are thrilled that he will be a Bobcat.

#BOOM

Let's just pretend that "Boz Angeles" wasn't a put-down toward the Bobcats from the hypocrites here.

Now recruiting out-of-state makes sense since Stitt is doing it. Classic hypocrisy.

Seriously, how about everyone move onto something more serious, like a dikc measuring contest, or a "my dad can beat up your dad" competition.

I happen to know a high school football coach that thinks Stitt is an outstanding individual.....it pains me to say that but....that's what he told me.

It's a huge Stitt show

Choate and the Cats really do own the state. 4 of the top 5 committed to MSU, I would say complete domination. I believe the biggest factor is Stitt, he could care less about Montana players and has basically said as much.

Just so I'm clear: you're suggesting that a coach who has never won a game, and coaches for a program who hasn't consistently beat the GRIZ since....well before most of us were born, and who coaches for a program who can't scrape together $4,000 to paint their junior high bleachers when the GRIZ raised $16 million virtually overnight OWNS the state?

Yeah. No.

Keep living in fantasyland Everett. The top talent in the state in choosing MSU, and if you can't see that, you are an epic tool.

Gunnar Brekke can't even crack the rotation....hows that working out for him?

Why is it that so many of you care about instate recruiting? Montana has some good high school players but let's face it if you try to make Montana your top recruiting priority you will fail miserably at the fcs level. Also, Stitt is still under the scholarship reduction so maybe he can't offer the top Montana players as much as msu can right now. We won't know how this all turns out for a few years but I'm willing to bet The Griz come out on top in the end like always.

I know 3 different AA coaches personally, and they all speak highly of Stitt.

In the I don't give a damn segment, what does it matter? Only the losing scat crapy team has a small issue to tout, yet they continue to lose to the Griz. Scats are "all blow and glow"

?? Tough to start when you have pneumonia.

Poorgriz, yes Brekke was out with an illness, BUT, it's pretty clear right now who the Cats' feature offensive player is, and it ain't Brekke, and no, there's no thunder and lighting planned. They will not get equal reps. Newell is going to be back there the majority of the time. And, if you are being completely objective, you can't deny why Griz fans continually mention Brekke when this whole #ownthestate thing comes up. Brekke hasn't exactly lit the Big Sky on fire over the years, and he's absolutely been a non-factor against the Griz. So you really can't knock us for not really caring now that Brekke decided to switch from the Griz to the Cats. He's a solid player, a good kid, and maybe he'll light it up this season, but, at the end of the day, Brekke never really turned the tide, or changed the guard like some MSU posters like to say.

Well he's credited with two tackles. Was he well enough to play or not?

He did not play. Will be lined up behind Newell (who will be a fullback) a lot this year. 2 back sets were not featured in the Idaho game because Brekke couldn't go. Offense adjusted by mainly featuring Newell and bringing in another tight end.

He's had pneumonia for 3 years?

He really should see someone about that.
