Eric Van Vilet is probably one of the nicest people on the campus.
I don't think anyone was saying he isn't

Did you see the look he gave one of the Western players though after the hard foul on Swift? Nice people can get pissed enough to want to kick a little ass occasionally too

Honestly I thought it was great to see that...and there were some pretty hard fouls towards the end of the game by Western players.
Van Vliet played very well too for the time he played against Western. He seems to be shaking off the rust caused by not playing last year & is looking better and better. Its going to be pretty exciting to see these two highschool teammates (Swift & Van Vliet) play for the next few years here..add in Sharp to that equation who I believe played on the same AAU team as Swift and Van Vliet, and you got three guys that have already had quite a bit of experience playing BB with eachother.
As for Hartman...he sure didn't handle leaving the program in a very mature fashion...had he left and not tried to make a public scene out of it, a lot of the people heckling him at the game probably wouldn't have done it.
