Just when it seemed refs couldn't be worse, this happens

Bear Axed, how many lies are you going to tell? You were within 10 feet (behind the bench). Pridgett wasn't there when the "shove" occurred, because he was on his face.

Did you even see the girl cheerleader walk out with the guy cheerleader?

Be honest, when you called Gene to get her story on why she threw the cheerleader out.... she wouldn't take your call

AmIRight?

Gene Geise?

Our seats are about 5 seats from each other in same row at games. That's why I know she doesn't always stand at NW entrance. We said hi on Sat night. The main discussion was about who shoved the ewu guy, not who got thrown out by whom and why.

Really? So...now you're calling Pridgett a liar for saying it was only the 90 pound girl that got tossed.... Now I'm deeply offended, Pridgett was standing right there.... How dare you question a player

Did a UM cheerleader (man) get tossed towards the end of the game? On replay, it looked like he was just being a fan and yelling, perhaps at an opposing player under the basket. I thought there was a girl and guy walking out, but didn't see what happened.

I was there and had a good view of the scene. I am trying not to go overboard on posting crazy rants, but...I will say this: The refs were horrible, from missing the obvious flop call on the three point shot (Rouse, I think) to the Timmy Falls dust up to letting Legans stand his whiney ass on the goddamn court during the whole game, to the cheerleader incident, these refs were utterly incompetent. Never seen so many double fouls, double fouls and a technical, double technicals and a personal, and ejection of a cheerleader FFS? (We can only hope the EWU player wasn’t seriously injured, or emotionally impaired by the incident). Their only answer to pissed off fans, coaches and players was to start calling even more fouls. The Owens dunk technical-what the hell was that call? Just a undertrained, shitty ref crew.
Oh. And I hate all things EWU, but Davidson is a baller. So is Manuel. Damn.

" .... whistles were frequent and the play was physical. Emotions were high from opening tip until final buzzer. A technical foul on Kyle Owens after a dunk late in the first half seemed to infuriate and ignite Montana.

Aiken’s second scuffle in the last six minutes resulted in the EWU rebounding machine getting shoved by a UM male cheerleader, leading to the spirit squad member’s ejection."

This is what you said earlier about Pridgett. A lie.

"Yep...rewatch that video, Pridgett was really close, in fact he was right under all of it....but, he was also face down on his belly and could only see the floor in front of his face..."

I completely agree with you.

The video has been posted multiple times in this thread. Try looking at it.

They will T you up every time if you slap the backboard after doing a rim pull up like Owens did on his flush. They seem to ignore just a rim pull up these days, that alone got you a T a few years ago but since everyone does it..add the two handed backboard slap it's a no brainer T. He knows it, just got caught up in the moment. Not a big deal given the way things went.

I assume Colter hadn't seen the video when he said this.

Let's ask him what he thinks now that he's seen the video. Colter?

Here's a tweet from the Kaiman - I guess they talked to Sayeed as well. On the Swx feed, it looked like a male cheerleader got escorted out, but who knows.

rewatch the video again and ask yourself who that Lady is standing right on the corner of the Court.... Maybe, you don't even know who Gene is?

So, I take it that you are admitting that the female cheerleader pushed the player, and that Pridgett, who was right there, confirmed to the Kaimin that it was a female cheerleader? Don't know why it took you so long. Someone had posted the Kaimin comment by Pridgett right away, and then I had re-posted it. So, you should have seen it right away.

The video, which is pretty clear but not 100% clear, indicated that the shove was by the female, and not the male, and then Pridgett confirmed it. That was good enough for me.

The woman I see at the corner of the court is not Jean Gee. It is Janie Haight, the assistant to Asst AD Chuck Maes. I told you earlier that Gee sits at the other end of the court near me. She isn't always in her seats, but I'm not aware that she is always at the NW entrance, as you said. That is probably Janie Haight. So, it looks like I know who Gee is, and you don't.

By the way, as of late yesterday afternoon, nothing had come of the incident, to my understanding. I assume and hope that once people figured out what really happened, the incident is going to fade away. It should. It looks like the wrong person got blamed, and probably no one was to blame. Except perhaps the obnoxious flopping baby from EWU.

I'll stick with my original post, and admit I messed up on the names of a couple of hard working ladies in the Atheletic department.... I still agree with what the School paper corrected too...on the video post, what Coulter certainly verified prior to submitting his article and the consensus of most every other poster on this thread....
You can play antagonistic as long as you feel it's necessary....

Again, so you agree that it was the female cheerleader, which is what I said all along?

Look in the mirror on the antagonistic stuff.

This is your original post you say you sticking with. Almost nothing you said was accurate.

"Kim Aiken Jr. did a leap over Pridget on a rebound, landed on a girl Cheerleader and the big blonde male cheerleader pushed Aiken off her.... Aiken got a little offended and started mouthing off to the guy cheerleader.... two ref's were standing right there and dint see nuffin'
Gene Geise removed the male cheerleader from the situation and she saw & knew he was only protecting the girls. ..... Shantay was calling for a technical against that cute little girl for offending Jr."
