I have no clue whom you are referring to, but if it has anything to do with Kemp or TJ, those charges should have never happened. Over zealous police that need to be sued. Unfortunately it lead to a lot of UM's problems. RE sucked at dealing with this properly, but that is another story.

The lawyer who represented the players was referred/introduced by a UM, not Foley or any senior person in the athletic department. Milt D. did not represent the players. Paul Ryan and other local lawyers have represented more UM athletes than the Datsap firm.

Did I think it was the crime of the century? No. The NCAA wasn't here over a party, they were here because of special treatment. But as far as the rest goes JOD would disagree with you. You seemed to be one of RE's puppet boys and you might say the same for me except I toss my allegiance to the prior HC, AD, VP, etc. I tend to believe that group as well as some eye witnesses a little more than anything that comes out of main hall. The way main hall handled Missoulian was horrendous. I would assume he had the same success with local police. If your info comes from Main hall, well then, I don't entirely trust you. Try not to take it personal and I wont if you say you don't trust me. On a side note, I do trust you more than I do Milt or Obama.

If RE had sent Jim Foley packing earlier , realized early on he was a trade to Dennison for a new building on campus from Pat Williams. Or in short realized he was a washed up political henchman. None of this would have been a problem. The AD and HC would still be here. The party wasn't a problem. RE made it abundantly clear to the faculty committees Foley would be gone quickly after his hire. He hesitated for reasons we will never know that hesitation has and continues to cost us... It wouldn't have hurt to get rid of couture early on either. THAT might have kept the DOJ away.

It was cover up after cover up by the Foley/Couture extending well beyond athletics. Coutures standing offer for most everything was leave at the end of the semester and nothing will be said.... Dave Paoli was the only attorney to ever stand up to him. Many others should have.
