Check the record book, p. 45 (http://www.gogriz.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/mont-footbl-yearbook.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false. Jordy has a long way to go.
Jordy plays in a different kind of offense -- Dickenson played in a passing offense. Jordy threw 19 passes against UND. DD threw 72 against Idaho in 1995. DD's completion percentage 1993-95: 68.7% avg. (67.2%, 68.2%, 67.9%), a record at the time.
Mobility? DD had 20 rushing TDs, third in UM history at the time.
By the time he graduated in 1995, DD had NCAA Division I-AA records including
Highest completion percentage
Highest percentage of passes for a touchdown
Fewest interceptions per pass
13,486 yards
etc.
In 1995, Dickenson's senior season, he threw for 5,676 yards in fifteen games, including 1,500 in four playoff games. After leading the Grizzlies to the I-AA national championship in 1995, Dickenson won the 1995 Walter Payton Award as the outstanding offensive player in Division I-AA.
Just a little hindsight.
