MSU revenue from 2025 compared to 2024:
Other revenue: 2.0 from 1.5
Corp sponsorships, ads and licensing: same, .25
Donors: 6.6 from 5.4 UM 2025 was 6.3
Guarantees 1.0 from .4 (the Oregon game)
Conf, ncca and media: 3.77 from 3.3
Tickets sales: 6.3 from 4.2. UM 6.8
Institutional support: 12 from 11.15. UM 9.2
Student fees: 2.3 from 2.23. UM 1.16
So, comparing MSU and UM:
Corporate sponsorships - 1.77, down from 3 in 2024
Donors - MSU ahead $300,000
Guarantees - MSU way ahead
Conf, ncaa and media: MSU ahead .37
Tickets sales: UM ahead by .5
Institutional support - MSU got 2.8 more
Student fees - MSU ahead 1.4
Of bigger things or fund-raising, MSU got a slight bit more from donors; more from Oregon game guarantee; .37 more from conference, NCAA and media; UM got .5 more from ticket sales; MSU got 2.8 more than institutional support; MSU got 1.4 more from student fees.
MSU improved its ticket sales and had an extra home playoff game (UM). UM gets way more in corp sponsorships, ads and licensing; MSU improved its donor contribution by 1.2 and was slightly ahead of UM. Conf, NCAA and media was better for UM. Insitutional support is way higher. Student fees are significantly higher. I don't see anything to indicate MSU is running away from UM on raising money. Based on 2025 and 2024.
