Yet your pathetic AD won't schedule us again. Apparently it mattered to him.

Let me ask you a question.

Why is it so important to your athletic administration to schedule NDSU now when....

A.) They backed out of a game against NDSU in the past
B.) They had a golden opportunity to add NDSU to the Big Sky and play them on regular basis

?

A is false. B isn't a Montana issue.

Try again, homer.

Considering that I personally know Gene Taylor and recall what happened in 2006 very clearly and the fact that it is well documented in the news....you are wrong. Montana backed out of playing against NDSU in 2006. No other way to spin it Bro.

“Montana State is one of the three schools who chose not come to the Fargodome in NDSU’s D1 era. The University of Montana did not honor the back half of a home-and-home after NDSU went to Missoula in 2003”. ~~~November 28, 2018 Fargo Forum.

You didn’t answer my question though. Why is it so important for your administration to schedule a game against NDSU? Why as a fan, do you care about it?

Here's an idea... Don't have a $100,000 buyout in the contract.

I don't recall Montana having NDSU on the schedule and backing out, but I'll take your word on it. That said, Montana and NDSU had a home-and-home in 2013 and 2015. That should make up for any hurt feelings from the buyout in 2006, and a home-and-home should be back on the table.

If NDSU is still butthurt from the buyout and will not schedule a home-and-home with Montana because of it (again, NDSU's fault for having a low contract buyout), then that's on them.

Because I'd rather play NDSU than Central Washington. Is that so difficult to comprehend?

UM didn't back out of the game. UM asked to reschedule the game because of the FBS opportunity. NDSU refused and suggested that UM exercise its buyout clause.

The Big Sky couldn't afford the travel costs, for minor sports, to add those schools, including NDSU.

If you were friends you would know the full story. It actually happened 2004 when NDSU was moving to the GreatWest Conference. Because of the recent move up to 1-AA, it was decided by BOTH schools to reschedule a future 1 and 1. This happened, and the loss at WaGriz Stadium is remembered Nationally as an embarrassing loss. Nobody in country, really noticed the loss later in the playoffs by the Griz.

I work with guys that are Texas and OU fans, and a couple have mentioned they watched Montana beat the Bizon. Neither even know NDSU has won any NC’s. Lol

Wrong wrong wrong wrong. The game was canceled January of 2016 when Montana scheduled Iowa. They bailed.

UM got an FBS game and spurred playing the Bison in Fargo. It was identical to what Montana State did to the Bison in 2013....

Later, yes they did agree to a home and home AT THE EXACT SAME fucking time they agreed to a home and home with Montana State. It wasn’t a “make up” meeting in response to Montana bailing.

If you know so much, then tell me why the Bizon athletic department paid a person to supply players with banned drugs. Also, tell me why the Bizon athletic department cowardly backed out of deal to play in Missoula in 1988 and again in 2018. I bet you had no idea, haha!

Incorrect, as I said if you really knew Gene Taylor (you were what 10 years old?), you would know the truth. Google it, heck there are news articles in this very forum about how it went down. Obviously your lie doesn’t fit your narrative, but nice try.

Still was a bad loss for you on National TV where more viewers have probably watched than any NC game.

Fact is NDSU loss on ESPN in the highest rated game they ever played in. Fact is UM did back out of game with NDSU in agreement in exchange for the future home and home. Fact is Montana has won in Fargo at least 3 times (I’m not going to research all the different sports).

Fact is your a piss ant liar, that just had their bluff called. Your cute little trolling didn’t work this time Einstein.

Wrong.

https://gogriz.com/sports/football/opponent-history/north-dakota-state-university/3

Griz haven’t won in Fargo in football. They bailed on NDSU. Last time the two teams played, they got their ass completely handed to them. 31 points.

Actually what is funny is nobody on this forum as one bit of proof documenting that UM has attempted to reschedule with NDSU saying no.

Because I'd rather play NDSU than Central Washington. Is that so difficult to comprehend?

Why not JMU, SDSU, Illinois State etc ?

Is the truth starting to hurt? Losing your temper a bit. Must be hard finding out you don’t know what you thought you knew. Your bluff and lies have been exposed. Maybe it’s time to go home where people actually care. Mommy Bizon is calling you.

Still waiting

“Montana State is one of the three schools who chose not to come to the Fargodome in NDSU’s D1 era. The University of Montana did not honor the back half of a home-and-home after NDSU went to Missoula in 2003”.~~~November 28, 2018 Fargo Forum.

Fact is UM has never won in Fargo. Never. Fact is UM backed out of a game when they had to go to Fargo. Fact is, NDSU has played and won in Missoula.

Sorry

Fact is NDSU loss on ESPN in the highest rated game they ever played in. Fact is UM did back out of game with NDSU in agreement in exchange for the future home and home. Fact is Montana has won in Fargo at least 3 times (I’m not going to research all the different sports).

Fact is your a piss ant liar, that just had their bluff called. Your cute little trolling didn’t work this time Einstein.

Wrong.

Griz haven’t won in Fargo in football. They bailed on NDSU. Last time the two teams played, they got their ass completely handed to them. 31 points.

Actually what is funny is nobody on this forum as one bit of proof documenting that UM has attempted to reschedule with NDSU saying no.

What’s funny is we have a piss ant liar, that uses one sentence from a forum, yet ignores the real story told in the newspaper. Google is your friend. I’m not going to do your research for you. Last time Bison played in Missoula they were embarrassed in front on a National televised. Nobody outside of Fattyville cared or saw the later game.

Trying to be all cute, and you can’t even come with the truth. Go home to Mommy Bison, she cares. The best thing about Fargo is driving through it. It’s not even your team, you’re just a fan that knows jack.
