Totally different person, and he's just a freshman. Big period of change for all young men and women. Who knows where this could go? Certainly not Mr. Lance ... or any of us.

On a related note: When is Wentz going to pack it in? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...carson-wentz-heroic-for-reporting-concussion/

Absolutely nothing against the guy. In fact, I've been happy that another FCS pick at QB has been successful in the NFL. Hell, I'm a life-long 49er fan. I'd love to see Garoppolo (Eastern Illinois, drafted 2014) take SF to a Super Bowl win.

But Wentz just may not have an NFL body. Despite how they protect the QB, he's had way too many injuries. Another concussion? Ouch!

I've seen him in interviews, and he's pretty good. Maybe it's time to retire to the TV booth. (Hopefully, he's socked away enough of his big contracts to not worry about money.)

I’m with you on this one. Some guys have talent, but just can’t shake the injury bug. With Wentz, it’s been the ankle, the ribs, a knee, the back, and the head. Seems like a smart enough guy. I think he’d be better off in the booth.

Why are you even talking about Wentz? You need to get over your infatuation about hating him. He won championships, got drafted #2 and has moved on setting NFL records. It is irrelevant what he does anymore.

What you should do is focus the narrative on Trey Lance. He’s your new VA and new Wentz. Write the narrative on him and go with it bro.

Someone brought it up, and then there was the thing with McCown showing toughness. Idk, seemed topical because people were discussing Lance’s draft stock. Wents is a #2 draft pick making millions who hasn’t panned out as planned due to a lack of durability. It’s a pretty popular story on a national scale.

Conversely, do you have any infatuations with any Big Sky message boards?

Are you one of the idiot fans who think Carson Wentz having a blackout concussion from a cheap shot, and not playing through it, is really a sign of his toughness?

He had an awesome season and drug that sorry ass Eagles team to the playoffs. Defiantly something homeboy Goff wouldn’t have done if given a similar cast.

Like I said, you need to focus the narrative on Trey Lance. He’s your new nemesis.

I will despise annoying opposing fans who are obsessed with the Griz at my leisure. I’m not going to take direction from some unemployed punk Eminem wannabe.

I guarantee you will respond because you can’t handle it. Dance, you soft clown, dance!

Think the Griz have a shot at second place again next year? It’s been awhile since they hung up a National championship runner up banner.

Another weekend of yours devoted to a Griz message board. I bet you can be convinced to do anything.

Unrelated, but how many cults have you joined and what were your reasons for leaving?

On to 2020 CDA.

Who do you have as the favorite to win the FCS national championship next year?

Probably the Griz. Like I said EWU won’t stay down for long, so they have a shot. MSU looks like they are getting a QB transfer, so they will be in the mix again. I don’t see the Bizon making it back to the championship game. Their extreme luck will run out next season, and, more importantly, I think they have to be much more careful about the institutional doping program now.

Man you really think the Griz can get over the hump? I just don’t see how they settle for anything higher than 2nd place. It is in their DNA.

I also don’t think they can beat MSU. Choate has such an edge over Big Game Bobby.

The Griz are already over the hump. In my opinion, the Griz remain the premier FCS program and the Bizon are more of a flash in the pan. Can you handle it if someone has that opinion on the internet?

You won, and Montana fans respect that. There is really No need to gloat, and act pompous.

Eh....not since 2001. They have kind of since taken the reputation of being the Buffalo Bills of the FCS.

They have also really struggled against the Bobcats. With that new transfer QB, I think they get rolled again.

Yes I can handle your opinion.

No thanks. Find another man to dance for you.

I know Bobby Hauck can get you back to getting 2nd place. No coach in the history of the FCS has been as good at doing it as he has.

NDSU will beat Oregon next year. They will have the best player on the field (Lance) and Oregon has a QB with zero experience starting his first game. Tailor made for an upset. OL and DL will match up and beat anything Oregon has. I would relish the moment NDSU get housed by 30 but its not going to happen, it never does. Some of you need to admit they are just better than 95% of college football teams ant any level.

Better than 95% of teams at any level?? Good god, What's in the ND water? Just because they stay at the same best in the FCS level every year, doesn't mean they get better every year. They're a legend in their own minds. Here's the reality: They would finish in the top half of most non-power five FBS conferences but would not be undefeated in most of them. They would probably not go winless in any of the power five conferences, but they would also not finish in the top half of any of them.

Finally a question for 2011. Seriously, I'd like to know, and I like Wentz, even though I've only seen him play once in person, and his team lost: What NFL records has he set other than most games missed due to injury?

Eh. Same deal.

You’ll respond to me. It is guaranteed.

We are on to 2020 CDA. Good deal for Bobby is he’s in a perfect position to play for 2nd. No pressure to win it all.

Braniac: (AKA Black Chicken Hobo)
There are 130 FBS Teams
So that means in your lame opinion, (95% better than any NCAA football team) there are only 6 or 7 FBS teams that could beat them.

They just beat JMU by 8 when JMU had the ball on the 3 in the last 5 seconds. So I guess JMU could beat all but say 15 FBS teams.

Please put down the BBQ Ribs and Schmidt and get back to reality

He’s wrong on that. They are a top 20-25 team if they played in the FBS, IMO.

I’d say there are only 6-7 or so FBS teams they are not capable of beating this year, if the game was played on a neutral field.

All considered, IMO I believe ndsu will hold their own v the mighty ducks. Like it or not, these guys are proven to not wet their pants when facing the”giants” of college football. I still think they should just join the big ten!
