Yes, I admit I am biased towards Johnson's side in this trial, but I think even the alleged victim's family have some reservations about her credibility.

I know I am a total shill for JJ, but if some young lass takes me in her bedroom, kisses me on her bed, allows me to take her shirt off followed closely by her bra, starts rubbing my junk, and then stradles me, I just might think she is interested in more than a platonic relationship !!!

I know...I am a sexist pig and a repressor of Gyno-Americans and if makes you all feel better, I am applying to appear on the Dr. Drew show so that I can be treated !!!

This is a reasonable explanation. If the counselor tells her "you are not alone, just 1 of 4 women", meaning 1 in 4 statistically, and women understood it to be 1 of 4 women JJ raped. Anyone remember the statistic the other expert witness gave regarding the percentage of women that are sexually assaulted, was it 1 in 4 also?

I believe it changes quite regularly. They each have their own, the Missoulian, and Cops&Courts.

Gwen Florio is the Police and Court beat writer, Cops and Court is her blog/twitter. Keila is the government beat writer, Missoula Red Tape is her blog/twitter. They said earlier they were having problems posting to twitter (too many post per minute or something and get locked out) so they might be sharing to post with whatever works on twitter, but I suspect it is still Gwen Florio. Keila has been doing most of the twitter post under Missoulian.

This "several victims" is news to me.

It came up a few days ago in the trial as well. The woman sent the text claiming that the counselor told her there were other victims. Counselor claims to have never said such a thing to woman.

This woman is screwed no matter how she answers. If she did say that, she loses her license and needs to start looking for another line of work. By saying she didn't say it, the prosecution just got clobbered. I think that is huge testimony.

Is it in the tweets that this witness admitted that she consulted her own lawyer in Billings and now has her own lawyer in Missoula?

While it's sometimes hard to hear, I didn't hear the 1 in 4 comment. I heard the not-alone comment. If I get a chance to get back to the courtroom, I'll try to ask others if they heard that.

Now two counselors/nurses have said that, despite the accuser texting friends saying that the counselor/nurse had told her that Johnson had done this (sexual assault) to other women, they did not ever say that to the accuser. Looks like further evidence that the accuser was out to get Johnson, even by making up stuff like this. Surely, the defense will bring this up again in their closing argument.

Yesterday, I don't think the tweets picked up that the roommate who was sleeping, was a gun nut, practiced shooting alot and was good at it, and kept multiple guns in his bedroom.

I agree with GrizBeer on that issue. It simply could have been a misunderstanding. The counselor said it happens to one in four, and she misunderstood that to mean that the accuser was litterally one of 4 JJ vicitms.

or it could have been a malicious statement, meant to help bring down a fury on JJ and whoever supported him...the likes of which have never been witnessed except in the deepest recesses of hell!

Thanks GRZFTBL. He wil be a hell of lot more scared looking if the verdict does not come down in his favor. This thing makes me sick for all involved. Especially makes me sick if she fabricated any portion of this allegation.

I think the key is that it is certainly plausible enough that I cannot see the jury putting too much stock into the statement or the related texts. I definitely don't think it's a case-cracker.

FWIW the same twitter user was asked by someone if she was there at the trial and she said she wasn't. Was basing it off pictures she saw from the trial.

I don't agree with that. Johnson looks good. Looks fairly relaxed and attentive. Doesn't look scared at all.

Well I guess. I just don't think any reasonably intelligent person would misunderstand what she was saying. I mean, if you wanted you could also interpret that as meaning JJ rapes 1 in 4 women. We'll see, but I think it was huge.
