The problem with "moving on" is that, after the collapse of this case, Engstrom negotiated an agreement with the DOJ that not even the DOJ will advocate as a model. It gives Engstrom the power to do what the justice system refused to do: prosecute, convict, expel, and ruin without evidence.

It did not end with the "Not Guilty" verdict. Engstrom's anger at that was not to be "denied." He would fix it.

It was an extremely cynical agreement that not only sacrificed the rights of both students and faculty, it appears designed to give Engstrom the last word on this subject -- a sort of "I'll show you" -- at the sacrifice of the University community as a whole.

If Dateline wanted a story, that was the big one.

75 and I are two of the best legal posters on egriz. Feel free to name any other poster who equals us on legal posts. By the way, I don't know 75, or know who he is. He's the best legal poster on egriz, by far. Most poster/observers know and appreciate that. Everett is such a dumbass that he wants to attack good posters. What a loser.

When did PR say anything about being obsessed with athletes? Didn't make such a post, at least in modern history. Can't wait on your response, Everett.

I understand your concern with the "War on Men", but like the "War on Christmas" or most of these culture wars, their actual real-life application is far more benign then their proclaimed threat to society by those polarized individuals (on either side) would lead you to believe. This is how over-reach is handled in our society, probably most societies.

Actually, many posters disagree with me frequently, and I don't agree with many posters. Being called a dumbass, idiot, loser is reserved only for special posters. You may work your way into the special category at some point. And thanks to everyone for the suggestions on improving my posting and being a better person. I'm sorry if it hurts your feelings when I call you a dumbass. However, I think you'd be better off, and have more likelihood of success, offering your suggestions to Alpha.
