What the hell is with you PR? Every single poster who disagrees with you or posts something critical - gets labeled or called a name. Dumbass, idiot, loser, etc. (Those were two of your posts in recent days that resorted to name calling). Just because someone has a different opinion does not mean they are stupid. Resorting to name calling simply makes you look childish and reinforces the negative opinion that many on the board have of you. I believe you do have some very good posts. Unfortunately they are overshadowed by your insecure name calling.

Isn't that all anyone does anymore on egriz? f*** I can name 10 posters off the top of my head that do the exact same thing...

Idiot

We could maybe have 17 pages of name calling here. A good start.

Unfortunately I think the egriz mod team is lackluster recently as the name calling is certainly getting out of hand. I disagree with all the name calling and I hope you don't think my idiot comment was serious. :-P.

I mean shit off the top of my head I've been called a racist(by alpha for even suggesting that trumaine was a better player than colt), a homophobe(I'm gay irl), dumb, idiot, insecure, stupid, and my new favorite which was said just yesterday "full of come." So yah honestly the name callin is a little out of hand however I think it'll only affect those who let it affect them. I for one could care less what a faceless username says to me.

More importantly, have you sent those pics I requested yet? 8-) 8-)

Gosh, I don't know what to say. Ummmmmm, I'm proud of you?

"So 75 and I are the best legal posters on the board, and GrizLaw can just go screw himself".

That goes for you too Bearister!

Have they already handed out the 2013 Egriz Awards? I missed who got the Best Legal Poster and Best Supporting Legal Poster trophies.

p.r. may have a good grasp of the law, but he doesn't use it to explain what's going on with legal issues pertaining to the team. he just uses it to try to persuade everyone into believing there isn't a problem and its someone else's fault. i don't find him informative at all. he claims to be an insider, but he rarely has any inside info that ever gets verified or can be.

I have been correct in my assessments of every single UM legal matter I have spent time posting on (about 10 over the years). Most of those assessments included inside information of some type, at least eventually, although the information was not necessarily first hand. My comment on Donaldson was not a legal comment; it was my instinct based on knowing him--so please spare us any comment on that. I'll give you some examples. I started a thread, within weeks of him being charged, saying there was "no way JJ would be convicted". My prediction was correct. I said, within days of the publicity on Poole, that his matter would likely end with a plea deal with the charges dissolving after some period of time, and he would be able to play for UM again. My prediction was correct. I said, almost immediately, that Quinn's second dui charge was bogus and would go away. It was dropped within 10 days. Multiple posters have posted at various times that my claims on being right on all of these legal matters have been correct. Once again, gg doesn't know what he's talking about. Bellevue high isn't a UM pipeline. Now that's pretty funny.

Well, thanks to PR for some very kind remarks. Notwithstanding Missoula's relatively small legal community, we haven't met, but I have always enjoyed his football commentary. His judgement on legal matters has seemed spot on ... yes, yes, that's because we generally agree, but on the other hand, on those salient issues germane to this forum, I haven't generally seen knowledgeable people disagree.

It's a little like football, I suppose. Those that actually have done it ...

I should have known better. It was something of a sarcastic remark. I should have included an identifier ["Sarc']. Mea Culpa.

For the record, I was a sports reporter and then sports editor at a daily paper that provided detailed coverage of the Grizzlies before I changed careers 40 years ago. I learned the trade/craft under the tutelage of Montana Standard's Sports Editor Bruce Sayler, who just recently retired. To this day, I admire his patience with me.

I have coached a couple of minor sports at UM for the past 30 years. However, anyone could take note of my lack of postings on detailed football strategies. I never played the game, I respect people who did, and also those who are genuine students of the sport that didn't.

PR brings that perspective. I certainly can't disagree with "the perspective."

I DO know that the perspective is different.

Indeed, I am currently editor of a "coaching manual" for an Olympic level sport on behalf of the recognized collegiate association. I will say this, despite having coached 59 competitors to national and international medal status, I am not writing a single chapter. I consider myself unqualified to do so.

The legal perspective on "JJ" was surprisingly controversial. I have never seen a local paper take a position like the Missoulian did, with its chief reporter on the subject reporting on criticisms of herself from what, she described, was a "testosterone soaked" perspective, which she found here on "egriz."

And a jury, denying her the satisfaction. And a president, making sure he would never be "denied" again, by compromising the financial integrity of the University, and the constitutional rights of its [male] students, and the faculty as well, out of nothing more than spite.

Who's the best eGriz lawyer and verdicts are not real because maybe someone on here should have testified if they knew something.

CliffsNotes version.

Interesting. Both a lawyer AND a journalist. Perhaps the Missoulian should have just hired YOU to do their reporting on the trial. :thumb:

No offense taken Eriul and this thread is hilarious. Sarcasm is welcome in my opinion and we are in for a long haul until next fall. Recruiting threads and committments can't get her quick enough!!!

Many of us are doing what we can to derail it. Let a sleeping dog lie. Not lie like not tell the truth, because dogs should always tell the truth but lie like leave it alone. No reason to bring skeletons out of the closet....Crap. What is it with me and idioms tonight?
