Go Jimmy Go. A lot of the knee jerk opposition to the ACA is based on misunderstanding, ignorance of the law and, quite simply, just the mindless hatred of Obama by conservatives. Two provisions of the law, (1) the extension of coverage age that allows my college student son to be covered under my policy, and (2) the mandate that insurance companies cannot deny coverage for people with preexisting conditions, has been a great help to my family.

Mindless hatred of Obama? He has earned every ounce it, and then some! He is simply the worst president in the history of America.

Oh man, I can't let that go. Obama is the worst president in history?

Has Obama started a war? Think hard, I can think of a president who started a war under entirely contrived reasoning about terrorism and nuclear weapons. Ten years later 4700 (or so) American dead, untold thousands dead who had the mis-fortune to live in the nation subject to this action. No nuclear weapons found and according to the 9/11 commission no association with terrorism. He also left office with the nation in the worst economic crises since 1929. Can you name the president?

You have no clue about the real reasons that war was started by Bush. Do you really think he went to Irag because of WMDs? It is humorous when people who think they have got it all figured out because the watch CNN news, start spewing things are are not even close to being reality.

In addition, do you know WHY Bush left office with the country in financial ruins? The reason was that Barney Frank and his buddy thought that every swinging dick in the nation should "be able to live the American dream to own a home". So, he creates legislation to basically grant government-backed home loans to people who had no possible chance of paying their monthly mortgages. This legislation also made it easy from crooked realtors/appraisers/backers to bilk billions of dollars from the system. This had ZERO to do with Bush.

But, your buddy Obama is doing such a great job of turning things around, huh? "Change we can believe in"! Yeah right, more accurately it is "change we can bereave in"!

Can't let this go either. The primary cause of the mortgage crises was failure of the bank and thrift regulators to regulate mortgage products offered by the institutions they regulate. The regulators were led by political appointees, appointed by the President. Had the regulators regulated there would have been no mortgage crises.

The current president is doing a good job putting the economy back together. The auto bail out is an excellent example of government action to repair the economy.

Job losses were largest in December 2008, can you name the president that month?

And what were the double-secret reasons for the invasion of Iraq? It's inspiring to know that someone on this message board is 'in the loop'.

..and how does this relate to Griz football? Please don't give me an answer like "Jimmy used to play football for Montana" cause I'll still ask what does it have to do with Griz football?

:shit:

We all have our political views (as do I), but WTF? Where's The Football

Go Griz!

Oh, you're right, the thread has nothing to do with football.

I'd just hate for some unsuspecting reader to think that all Griz fans were like you-know-who.

P.S. - Growler, you might want to actually grab a book and look up "socialism" instead of just going with Sarah Palin's definition.

Of course socialism doesn't work, either does communism. It has also been shown that unfettered capitalism doesn't work and leads to fraud, abuse, and abuses in the banking and financial sector. Our system is the worst except for everyone elses. I will take what we have over anyone else's system. The answer is somewhere in the middle. For every example of overnment abuse, I can show you an example of where the government should have stepped in, or did step in and it was beneficial. Now, how bout that read headed kid.

All Griz fans like me??? Oh, you mean successful, accomplished, well-read, sits on two company boards??? Or, should they be more like you, mis-informed, idealouge, "progessive", who is too stupid, or too lazy to live the American dream, but who would rather live in a nanny state where the government takes care of him???

Don't lecture me on looking up anything. You are a joke. Keep up the ridiculous "Sarah Palin & George Bush" B.S. That is the "progressive mantra", because they are too stupid to talk intelligently about anything. When in doubt, blame George or Sarah.

Go Jimmy! Does anyone have a video of his one handed endzone catch a couple years ago (I think it was the semifinals)?
There's a clip on my Georgia Southern game DVD. If I were more tech-savy/equipped I could probably get that uploaded

I thought that touchdown happend against App St back in 2000??
Right, and they showed a clip of the play during the GSU game

All weather fan,

I don't know if anyone's told you, but they say America is split down the middle - maybe 60/40. With that said, I think your statement that you'd hate for "some unsuspecting reader to think all Griz fans were like you-know-who" leads me to say half will think Growler1 is an idiot and half will think you are.

Me, I think you're all idiots for talking politics on a Griz Football message board.

I recommend you all go read BW's tweets about football and the Pro day experience. :thumb:

Go Griz!

Go Griz!

Don't try to educate him. He's an entitlement baby, who thinks the government should take care of him. He wants to re-distribute wealth. Shift manager at Mickey-Ds just ain't what it used to be.

Yes, i'll take a bag. Please speak Spanish to me, however. I know you're very adept at speaking that language by looking at the fry chef and cashier who report to you.

I am done with the pissing contest with you. You bore me. Some drink from the fountain of knowledge. You only gargled.
