Just horrible news, must be just near 40. My all time favorite Griz. The heart of a lion.Haven’t seen it posted yet but unfortunately JD Quinn passed away this week. Sounds like liver disease. He had been pretty sick the last year or so. RIP to the true definition of DOLA.
That's sad. I liked JD. I didn't know him well, just brief interactions on the field after games and short conversations here and there when I would run into him around town.Haven’t seen it posted yet but unfortunately JD Quinn passed away this week. Sounds like liver disease. He had been pretty sick the last year or so. RIP to the true definition of DOLA.
Dominant. One of the best to ever do it for the Griz. All time legend.
Jacob, you may want to reach out to UM Athletics. They likely have some terrific photos they can share. And please pass along all of GRIZ Nation's condolences to the entire Quinn family on our behalf.I am a childhood friend of Abby, JD’s younger sister, i briefly knew him throughout our highschool and college years. If anyone has any pictures, stories or even videos about your favorite memories of the hoss JD, feel free to send them to me 214-930-7456. There is a memorial for him in Garland, Texas this coming Sunday(6/7) and i will be sure to get all of this over to his family. I know it would truly mean a lot to them!
