Jacks QB at Reds

Hey Bud, that law is in reference to religious practices, such as, cough, choke.....Catholics.......My extended family are Catholics so I suppose I can comment.....

The BrAC law for anyone under 21is they are subject to a citation if they are at or over .02. With that being said, you'd be hard pressed to find an Officer who would cite a JUVENILE who was less than .04 to .05, unless of course the JUVENILE was being an ass, which of course we all know teenagers are anyway... ;)

Another thing...

BAC stands for BLOOD ALCOHOL CONTENT

BrAC stands for Breath Alcohol Content.... lifeloc, breathalizers and Intoxilizers use BrAC, not BAC....

I thought BAC stood for Bay Area Cat?

Yeah, I forgot that one Jagur1, but you are correct....Bay Area Cat and breath Mints should go together like Jared and Subway...whew!!!.... JK CAT..... :D

Glad to see them enjoying their trip, but heck with posting it on FB, send it to the Griz for proof that SFA isn't taking them serious. If I were on the team I would be pissed that these guys seem cocky if they are out partying before a game of this magnitude.

GO GRIZ!!!

I am probably gonna get flamed for this, but here I go. First as a coach, I probably wouldn't have liked my players downtown on a week night before a game. Yet, most coaches probably understand that type of stuff is going to happen on their watch or off it. But yet in the whole scheme of things, I can think of a lot of other things I probably wouldn't want my starting quarterback doing on a Thursday night. Secondly, if he is going to be responsible (and is of age) while drinking and doesn't pass out in an alley, then I don't see the issue.

Things I personally wouldn't want my starting QB doing on a Thursday night:
1. Running a woodchipper
2. Doing his best "Black Knight" impression on Higgins street Bridge
3. Hitting people with his throwing hand.
4. Shooting the chutes
5. Stealing beer off of Alpha's front porch.

Don't know if in Montana Thursday is treated as college night, but in Nac it is. I think its good that there doing in Montana what they would be doing at home anyways. I do hope we had some coaches there to make sure things didn't get out of hand but I'm glad to see the team loose and hopefully the UM fans respectful(and I'm sure they were, not trying to start anything). G'luck on saturday, here's to it being a good injury free game

At least they weren't there with the boys from Frenchtown and their Bachelor Party....

I hear ya there!! good luck (kind of) and hope everyone is healthy at the end, .....especially the griz, we have to play next week :D :D :D .......cheers and good luck!

I don't see how this is even a problem. Its the playoffs, let them have some fun in a town they may never come back to. From what I can see its just some people of legal drinking age, having legal drinks, in a legal establishment. A couple drinks a couple days before the game isn't going to hurt anyone. Nor is it like they went on a drunken rampage through downtown Missoula. They are just having a good time, during an experience that they may, or may not get to have again. Give them a break. Its just some people having a good time.

But....a witch hunt is way more funner.

I should have thought of that. :D :D

Good for them, college and football are about having fun. I dont even care if they were underage and tippin a few back.

All this anti drinking stuff is so out of hand right now it sickening and anyone that complains about it is a real uptight SOB that really needs to mind their own business and quit telling everyone else what to do.

I would actually respect a person more if they went out had a few some fun and showed some moderation over the guy that wont. One of them has personality. It is possible to meet in the middle instead of a knee jerk reaction hard left or hard right.

Glad they had fun, and Chris IS a bad influence. 8-)

Had a blast with these guys! They are really nice kids and were having a lot of fun! Had some great conversations with them and few drinks. They said that when they first showed up they thought they would have one drink and pretty much be pushed out of the place, boy were they wrong. They said they have NEVER seen fans such as Montana Fans and the hospitality they received. Glad to be part of it! I for one think its great that they were out having a little fun and celebrating their success making the second round of the playoffs!

Overall, great kids and I wish them the best! I even told them they could watch the semifinals on ESPN2 :)

Glad those that were in Zoo town last night showed them what being a UM fan is really all about! Wish i coulda been there....Its great to hear stories like this though

This is awesome. Of course, if I was a fan of SFA or a coach - I'd probably have a different reaction.

There are many bad situations that could result from outings like this. Fights, excessive drinking, etc.... It would make me nervous as a coach and that's probably the main reason why many ban or frown upon this type of behavior.

At the very least - I would be pissed that they wore their SFA school issued gear into a bar. First off - that's not the best way to represent your school. On top of that - you are just asking for attention. They are lucky they ran into a friendly bunch of fans. There was a chance with alcohol involved that this may not have been the case and turned into a nightmare.

Most of all - I would tear them apart for posing in pictures. It's one thing to go to a bar. It's another to blatantly sport school gear. But knowingly posing for pictures to prove the whole thing happened? How stupid can you really be?

I actually find this amusing and wish I was there to buy them a round. I think it is all in good fun and shows they are probably a likable bunch. Nice job Chris and other Griz crew. I wouldn't expect anything less out of the Missoula crowd.

But I sure could understand how somebody would be pissed about this. I think it says something about their level of smarts - or lack thereof.

I was at Red's last night when the players came into the bar. At first I welcomed them as fans and they indicated that they were players on the team and I offered to buy them a drink and they gladly accepted. They were extremely polite and we talked football and they were very interested in how big our crowd was going to be at the game. I showed them around the bar showing off our goalposts from previous championships and the large football helmet collection that there is at Red's. They said they would try to give Red's one of their helmets for their collection. Moses, the quarterback,is quite a character and a lot of fun to talk too. After a few drinks,he called more of his teammates and they came down to the bar to join in the fun. I asked them to sing their school fight song and they tried but they were very quiet in doing so and some may not have known all of the words. After that,I went around the bar and talked to the patrons there and we sang a rousing rendition of the Grizzly fight song to the SFA players. They were very impressed with our song and the passion that Griz fans have for our team. All in all,it was a fun experience for the SFA players and the Griz fans that were at Red's.

So when did the team get into town? I thought they would have shown up today. Did they just get in yesterday afternoon.
Should be a good game
Turnovers will more than likely make the dif in this one.
