You do understand what an average is, right? I believe that this mid-career study is defined as 10 years out of college, so essentially average salary at age 32. Some of my Dartmouth friends, an even a teammate or two, become billionaires eventually, so they beat the average too.
What do you think UM's 10-year out average salary is?

Only those are MEDIAN salaries, not AVERAGE salaries on the list you posted.
Umista said:Two of my Stanford friends made tons of money. One was the CEO of Intell the other was a nuclear scientest and both are super people. Both have attended Griz games with me. Both are smart, love football and like to help others (less fortunate) and of course look down at IVYs.
Like Bigdog mentioned it is all about the person and NOT the school one attended.

Yes, I know, but I've learned over the years that a lot of people on egriz don't seem to know what the mean means, so it's less confusing to them to just saw average. Ha.

Both Stanford grads are beyond great humans and do help many others. They would not appreciate my joking comment about looking down an any one or thing. Glad to see you made both IVY and Stanford.
The point I should have made was more about the person and NOT about the school. Now if I can get one of my over educated kids to fix my spell check on this old apple I will be singing along with the bigdogs etc.

Umista said:BGtineydog, I am well known amongst my over educated children (and wife) to be thrifty (cheap) and as such I am pounding away on my apple lap top (a hand me down from one of my kids). Only my close assistants ever knew just how illiterate I am/was. Hence, I have been able to sneak through life with many of my collegues not aware of my short commings or if they did they never let on.
Now I am flogging away on E-griz and my dinosaur ways are exposed just because of my love of Griz football and I have time to go outside and play.
With the US dollar VS Canadian dollar ($0.74 gets you a full Canada dollar) this is a good time to visit and buy things. Ocean front, ranch property, houses, U name it.
