It's not just UM...

You're going to see something like this setup when the Kings played outdoors if SAC hosts...

Except it will not actually be the kings flooring because it is not college basketball regulation size. It will be a mid par hollow flooring. Which is probably no worse than what is in the nest or PSU or EWU gyms anyway. I think sac will easily win home court and u do t see the griz or sac winning the tournament because shooting will be much tougher in am open rec center. For instance the final four and other tourneys with replacement floors in open areas see a 5-10% shot % decrease. This really gives EWU an edge. Any team that shoot the deep ball a lot will have to be perfect

So the Kings have some college basketball regulation size hollow flooring in stock just for this occasion. Yeah makes sense.

If this is a court for NBA and only NBA use then why does it have 3 distinct 3 pt lines????

I'm not an NCU fan. I have no idea what school "NCU" is.

Northern Colorado. Are you that slow?

It's the University of Northern Colorado. Or UNC, or NC.

It's NCU. If everyone says my tie is red, but I think it's blue, it's red. It's NCU, bro. Sorry.

No problem. However, can you email the president of the university, and the board and let them know? I mean the university has referred to itself as UNC for over 30 years, but because you say it's NCU, I'm sure they'll understand. Here's a link to the school's website. Go ahead and navigate through and you'll find the correct people that will help address your concerns. http://www.unco.edu/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's NCU. Stop trying to act like it's not. Not a good look for you.

Is a Sac St. fan trying to make cow jokes? Seriously?

More information on the tournament in Sacramento. This article has more details about the venue and information on tickets.

Two sentences jumped out of that article to me:

1) "Four 20-foot-by-30-foot portable locker rooms will be built in The Well’s adjoining indoor soccer arena."

For reals? It sounds like they will be using steel barge containers.

2) “This is huge for our school because it’s been a long time since Sac State has had a good team,”

Does "a long time" = never?

Having the opportunity to host this tournament would go a long way towards SAC getting a new arena built... And that's good for everyone.

Being very familiar with the WELL, I can say it will be extremely loud in there for anyone who plays SAC if we host. The acoustics will be like yelling into a 50 gallon drum.

How cold is it?

The building is only few years old, the HVAC is superior. It'll be mid 70s anyway next week, so nothing to worry about...

Yup, which is what Macriss mentioned in the article. At a bare minimum we need to see movement on a fund raising effort on the issue.
