I think it looks like 2 mediocre conferences instead of 1 decent conference.Looks like UNLV is staying in the MWC, pretty much killing the PAC expansion
I don't think any FCS school has a chance at the PAC whatever. How about
NDSU
SDSU
UTEP
NMSU
To the MWC
And
UM
MSU
SacSt
Idaho
To the PAC6
Makes to much sense so will never happen
Only if they get desperate for a Market, at that point it would probably be Sac State and then hope to get either UNM or USUI don't think any FCS school has a chance at the PAC whatever.
I do, they're going to be getting extra $$ and will be a flagship with Air Force for the new MWC (according to the MWC Forum and another bigger one here)I don't see the upside for UNLV staying in the MWC.
The MWC is going to be a bottom FBS conference. Even with money, not sure that is great.I do, they're going to be getting extra $$ and will be a flagship with Air Force for the new MWC (according to the MWC Forum and another bigger one here)

Pac-2 to Poach MWC

Supposedly Hawaii already signed with everyone else to stay together, the only ones that haven't signed yet are:Hawaii is now a wild card. They want to go PAC

No would that MW be stronger than tyy he e new PAC-12. Not even close.Keeping Air Force and UNLV will keep them above CUSA and probably on par with the Sun Belt. If they add both Montanas and Dakota States we would be a stronger Conference IMO then the new PAC overall.
Also both NMSU and UTEP want in the MWC, get those 2 as well and you'd have a solid Conference.
Full reverse merger seems off the table, to many schools don't want to be associated with the others.I think with the new transition barriers and the pressure from the P4, FCS to FBS is a bigger hill to climb than people believe. I think it could be more likely if both end up at 7, is they merge.
I'd see it as a Western Sunbelt Conference where regional (by Western Standards) Conference made of teams who give a damn about athletics and football as much as we do, more so then the Big Sky.No would that MW be stronger than tyy he e new PAC-12. Not even close.
CAL and in particular Standford don't want to be associated with the State California schools (Fresno, SDSU) their snobbiness is what helped destroy the PAC by limiting and refusing certain expansion options. If the new PAC-12 gets going, I think Stanford and Cal would look at returning. It makes no geographic other sense for them bit be where they are now, except to avoid the PAC-2.
