It happenin

Last season, Washington ended up. no. 2. Oregon ended up no. 7. AZ was no. 12. Oregon St. no. 27. Utah, UCLA and USC nos. 32, 33, 34. So, 7 in top 34, and you think Pac-12 really wasn't a Power 5. Ya, right. Learn something about the game.
PAC12 was so popular, they couldn't get a good TV deal and 10 programs left.

Sac State passed new student fees TODAY to go towards intercollegiate athletics and facilities that will place our overall athletics budget either in the middle of the MWC pack, or at the very top of all of FCS. Something is afoot.

Hey, they have a yoga studio they can move some folding chairs into to play their games. Almost hosted a bsc (#bsc) championship that way until Montana saved the day and it was played in an actual DI arena in Missoula.

You realize we have an agreement to play home games at the golden1center, an NBA arena just a couple miles from campus?

And that the nest yoga studio was retired last year and the team will be in a 3,500 seat stop gap facility during the transition on campus?

I did not. I've become afraid to ask questions around here. :)

I see Sac State as one of the favorites to receive an invite from the MW. The Sacramento Market is desirable for the MW, the school has the required number of sports already, the football team would be competitive immediately, and the school shows a real desire to move up.

Definitely more night games with a couple Thursday night and Friday night games thrown in. People bitched about a Friday night playoff game, I don't see sellouts on Thursday or Friday nights, especially with late starts to accommodate ESPN.
Nobody sells out Thursday night games unless it's a chance to see an FCS team knock off Colorado.

Sac has a large market, but does anyone care about them? Missoula is obviously a smaller market, but we draw 15,000 more per game, and I can guarantee our television ratings are higher. Sac is in a good position already fielding the required sports, but their facilities lack. And over the two year period for transition, it would not be difficult for UM to field the required programs.
